I went to the darkest area near my hometown called "Gülper See". It is part of an area where a very low amount of light pollution is. It is well known by a lot of the astrophotographers, because it's also one of the darkest spots here in Germany. When you want to shoot the amazing nightsky in Germany, then you should definitely visit the "Westhavelland" in Brandenburg!

I recently went on a 10 day holiday to Banff, Canada. Banff is somewhere that I've wanted to go for about 15 years and it was even better than I expected. I took this photo at the back of Moraine Lake. I went there to get the good photos everyone would expect, but I also wanted to capture shots not everyone thinks about. I made an effort to "Look behind where you're standing" in order to capture something a little different. In this shot, you can see some of the blue glacial ice above the Moraines that surround the Lake and the extremely dynamic weather that you get in the Canadian Rockies.

I was walking around at Pride 2019 in New York to portrait interesting people and scenes. All of a sudden I was in the front of this Gay Officers parade which was such a joy to watch. I went for the middle to capture both the banner and all the happy and proud officers standing up for themselves.

They said it was supposed to be heavy rain and thunderstorms last weekend. We went anyway. We've been planning this birthday trip for months. Rain or shine, nothings going to stop us. Eastern Sierras was out of the question, Tioga Pass is still covered in snow. We drove to Weed California instead. Camped out near Mt Shasta. It was hot days, warm nights, no rain. I took this photo at 2AM cozy in a t-shirt.

The weather at Fuji can be quite capricious: you can consider yourself lucky if you happen to get a clear view. Some people went there 3 times, only to see Fuji hiding in the clouds. I tried to make the most of this luck and capture this scenery with a personal touch.

We were up at 3:30am on the day that the clocks went forward to summit the Cobbler and catch the first light of the summer. We made it to the top by 6:30am to catch the sunrise then once we had taken a few shots my friend climbed on top of the Needle (a rocky protrusion on the Cobbler) and looked out towards Ben Lomond. Without a cloud in the sky the light was perfect.

We took a little trip to the east of tenerife. At one point we left our car in a parking lot... We went for a swim and enjoyed the sun on our faces. Later that day, when we came back to get our car, the parking lot was closed!🤦🏼‍♂️ We asked people in the restaurants nearby but nobody seemed to be able to help us. A very kind man who lived in a village which wasn’t far from the parking lot said he would drive back into the village and ask the people there who could open the parking area. In the meantime my friends and I watched the beautiful sunset and I took this picture.🌄 After waiting for ages, someone came and opened the parking lot for us. Even though it was annoying at first, I’d say we did make the best out of a bad situation.👏🏼

I was travelling across Vietnam for a month in 2018. While trekking through a jungle, I came across a cave with a narrow opening and I went in until there was no more light. This is the last bit of the cave that was lit up. after this, it was pure darkness.

I visited Morro Rock at December, 2018. It was little cold that time and the sun went down behind the rock. The cold air from inland casted a blue color and the sun filled with golden color. Some kids played surfing on beach brought more vibrant into the scene.

Visiting an exhibition on Matadero in Madrid, my friend and I found this installation from Mandalaki, it’s called DI_LIGHTFUL. It’s a small room with lights that create circles of very different colours. We just went nuts with it, I think we took about 50 pictures just in this place. We’ve been in Madrid for a couple of days now for work, and we are simply in love with the city. If anyone is considering visiting, DO IT. It’s amazing. The classic and the modern all together, beautiful and welcoming people, lots of art, opportunities and great moments.
