Discovering Háifoss Waterfall was a major highlight during my visit to Iceland. Words can't describe the power that the waterfall exhibits.

My entire life I have wanted to make it to this very spot on Mono Lake, California. The rock formations called tufas, and are this sort of eerie wonderland. Sunrise was not a disappointment, and was a peaceful moment of exploration.

Picture taken from the deck of a sketchy booze-cruise in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico...while I was a bit drunk.

I have never seen a sunset like this before. The day's storms ended just in time for the clouds to break and unleash quite the show. What a great way to spend a Sunday evening!

Some of the Tufas at Mono Lake. They are calcium carbonate formations formed at the bottom of the lake when the lake was deeper. LA water officials started buying water rights and draining the lake in the early 1900's. As the water dropped the tufas were exposed. To learn how to take pictures like this, read my educational blogs at www.sharetimsphotos.com.

One of the more well known exhibits at the Monterey Bay Aquarium is the Jelly exhibit, and I can see why. Getting such a close look at these slow moving creatures was pretty awesome.

I have long dreamed of catching a sunrise at Lake Tahoe. So I woke at 4:30 to drive to Emerald Bay to capture this stellar moment. Wow, what a moment it was and I'd do it all over.

A snapshot of the reflection of two colour lamps in the Kiasma museum of modern art in Helsinki. A woman happened to pass by when I was looking to the window.

Looks like Seychelles, but it was a swimming pool. A really cool one to be honest! Couldn´t resist taking my drone up n the air to capture it.

A bright Yellow Warbler who didn't seem the least bit bothered by the heavy rain and wind. He was bouncing around in the low brush in front of my friend and I. It landed on a lot of great perches, some a little distant like this one that gave a great sense of environment and the rain and some closer and right near us. I really likd how the bird was framed in on this perch and you could easily see the heavy rain that was not fun to shoot in but worth it.

Had some fun in the rain here in NE Ohio the other day. My oldest son and I did some hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and had a great time. It was about 48 out and we hiked up a stretch of Brandywine Creek. This was at the top of a cool set of cascades.

This is a 151-second exposure of a SpaceX Falcon 9 delivering 60 Starlink satellites to orbit on the evening of May 23, 2019. Shot near the 7-story Exploration Tower, the streak and the tower have a nice mirror symmetry. I would love to say that I planned this. I was heading to another spot about 3 miles west to photograph the launch and the new owners had a chain across the road and ominous "No Trespassing" signs, so I had to choose another spot to set up with about 15 minutes to go.

I was experimenting with water, cooking oil and different color patterns displayed by an old iPad. I like the "jupiterian vibe" of this particular bubble.

I was on my way back home after work. I was thinking about a way to splash a bunch of different colors in the water at the same time with one hand and the other operating the trigger or the remote. And I constructed this primitive multi-color device :)

Three minutes before the avalanche left, I was at that spot. Happiness in misfortune, it's a pity that I didn't have more time to adjust the aperture! I also had the old 50mm lens on the camera, which doesn't work properly anymore! Otherwise, it would have become a perfect shot, so it is a hot snapshot!

It was a beautiful but windy evening, with small waves rolling in. The off-shore wind made for long peeling waves, and the incoming mist made the nightsky a lush gradient of warm pink and purplish blue hues.

The light of the setting sun hits Mt Cook with the glacial water of the Hooker River in the foreground. This was just off the Hooker Valley Track in New Zealand. The hike was awesome, and hard to beat in the views per mile/difficulty level. It's a relatively short, flat hike that has 3 cool bridges and great views in every direction.

This photo was taken in Furnas, São Miguel. This area is knows for its geothermal activity, the village center is full of holes with boiling water and if you touch the ground everything is warm. On top of that the colors of the earth make you feel like you're in another world.

This excursion to the Cime Bianche Lakes, Breuil-Cervinia in the Valtournenche, was among the most beautiful excursions I did. The path is not so difficult and allows you to see breathtaking views. If you love the mountains, but you are not expert hikers, I recommend visiting this place, because it will leave you speechless.

Sunset near Gibson Steps at Twelve Apostles Marine National Park in Australia.Had a great time driving the Great Ocean Road in Australia. Watching the sun set along the shore at Twelve Apostles was one of my favorite things, the ocean never ceases to amaze!

Waterfalls near Milford Sound, New Zealand. One of the most amazing experiences I've had traveling. This was on the road to Milford Sound in New Zealand. It is one of the rainest places on Earth and it was absolutely pouring when I was there. Waterfalls were forming literally everywhere around, just coming down the sides of the mountains.
