Went downtown New Orleans with some friends and found this place Drip Affogato. It was amazing having an espresso to pour over the ice cream, and the shop looked amazing as well.

Some of the Tufas at Mono Lake. They are calcium carbonate formations formed at the bottom of the lake when the lake was deeper. LA water officials started buying water rights and draining the lake in the early 1900's. As the water dropped the tufas were exposed. To learn how to take pictures like this, read my educational blogs at www.sharetimsphotos.com.

This shot was taken in my hometown Salzburg in beautiful fall. I loved this street turn so much.

What makes this jelly donut from Guru Donuts special? It was made with love by a mother of young children working 14 hours a day to get her dream business running. From baking, to marketing, to hiring, to sweeping . . . moms get the job done.

This photo shoot was made with survivors of Brain Injury and it was the concept of 'I am a human behind the mask that everyone sees'.

Had some fun in the rain here in NE Ohio the other day. My oldest son and I did some hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and had a great time. It was about 48 out and we hiked up a stretch of Brandywine Creek. This was at the top of a cool set of cascades.

This photo was taken at a cute coffee shop in Chicago called Hero Coffee. My wife is absolutely in love with their lattes and me with their hot chocolate.

I always love taking photos of small objects by a window in my apartment. I was making coffee one morning and the thought just struck me to show off these coffee beans, and what you see is what came of it.

Tibetans and supporters protest near the Chinese Embassy in Paris, against the abduction of the 11th Panchen Lama. Gedhun Choekyi Nyima was recognised by the Dalai Lama as the 11th Panchen Lama on 14 May 1995 at the age of six. Three days later, on 17 May, he along with his parents went missing. Reffered as “Tibet’s Stolen Child”, he is the youngest political prisoner in the world.

Red Breaks Slot Canyon, soon after the entrance from the south. I didn't get past the first significant obstacle, which was a ten foot chock stone.

This Carolina Wren flew in to the feeders that I had hanging from this gorgeous branch and after having its fill of food it hopped up onto the branch and gave me a few poses. This was my favorite as it stood up tall and right in the one opening in the branches. I had set up to shoot backlit for the feeders because I knew the sun would be too bright for a front lit shot and would look harsh. Using backlight and a row of dark green bushes in shade I was able to capture this dramatically lit shot of the little bird and the beautiful pink spring cherry blossoms.

It was raining so we decided to have a coffee while waiting for the rain to stop. This coffee shop was hidden from the crowd. We had to walk through the house to its backyard where there were a few tables and chairs were set under a hut. They served only Turkish coffee (with or without milk), nargile and some Turkish food. At the table next to us, an old lady was doing coffee fortune telling. We drank our "sade" (plain) Turkish coffee in such a Turkish place and Turkish atmosphere, which we hadn't experienced before even though we've been in Turkey for two years. Such an unforgettable memory.

Made this image as part of a series that I used to make my food photography workshop poster. Trying to depict a cozy urban breakfast scene in this shot. This was shot using a single light source to camera right. The backdrops and surfaces are made by me using cheaply available materials in the art store.

This was a journey to meet my in-laws and produce as many photos as I can for myself. I fell in love with this beautiful country, the spirituality, the freedom and the food. Wherever I look, there was a real scene from real life. I’ve never been so aware in my life as a photographer. This country opened my eyes once again to what’s really important in life.

I’ve been visiting this part of the California coastline since before I can remember. Every year my parents would take my siblings and I camping in the redwoods just a few miles away from this very stretch of Hwy 1. I still come back to this place whenever I get a chance, it’s just too beautiful and too full of fond memories to stay away for long. This morning was my first time visiting with a drone, and it was an incredible experience getting to see this place that I love from a new perspective

At first I thought this was the usual milk that I like but it’s actually fermented milk and man it’s really sour! It’s like drinking yoghurt without the sugar.

A year ago, I had the courage to capture the happenings during the Chinese New Year in Binondo, Manila. It was quite challenging to brave the large crowd under the scorching heat. However, discovering different scenarios and people like the vendor (he doesn’t sell mushrooms btw) is one of a kind experience. This 2019, I covered the event once again but I didn’t meet the vendor this time.
