My entire life I have wanted to make it to this very spot on Mono Lake, California. The rock formations called tufas, and are this sort of eerie wonderland. Sunrise was not a disappointment, and was a peaceful moment of exploration.

I went to the darkest area near my hometown called "Gülper See". It is part of an area where a very low amount of light pollution is. It is well known by a lot of the astrophotographers, because it's also one of the darkest spots here in Germany. When you want to shoot the amazing nightsky in Germany, then you should definitely visit the "Westhavelland" in Brandenburg!

Moraine Lake has been somewhere I've wanted to visit for 15 years. Last week I finally managed to go there with my Fiancée and what an absolutely beautiful lake it is. When we landed in Calgary we had a 1.5 hour drive to our hotel in Banff and then slept for 3 hours before going on the drive up to Moraine Lake. We arrived at 5:30 to beat the crowds and got super lucky with the weather as it had rained the night before. This place is very special, and everyone should go and see it at least once. I can't wait to go back

NGC 4565 – the Needle Galaxy Located between 30 – 50 million light years away, it’s the most prominent edge-on spiral galaxies we have in our view. Residing near the North Galactic Pole in the constellation Coma Berenices (named for “Berenice's Hair" in Latin and refers to Queen Berenice II of Egypt, who cut off her hair in gratitude to the gods for the safe return of her husband from battle), it has a spatial diameter of 140,000 light-years (Milky Way = 105,000 ly) and is estimated to contain a trillion stars (Milky Way 250-400 billion). With the darkness from a central dust lane obscuring much of the visual core of the galaxy, it’s very similar to our view of the core our Milky Way, and as such is studied extensively by astronomers.

We took a little trip to the east of tenerife. At one point we left our car in a parking lot... We went for a swim and enjoyed the sun on our faces. Later that day, when we came back to get our car, the parking lot was closed!🤦🏼‍♂️ We asked people in the restaurants nearby but nobody seemed to be able to help us. A very kind man who lived in a village which wasn’t far from the parking lot said he would drive back into the village and ask the people there who could open the parking area. In the meantime my friends and I watched the beautiful sunset and I took this picture.🌄 After waiting for ages, someone came and opened the parking lot for us. Even though it was annoying at first, I’d say we did make the best out of a bad situation.👏🏼

It was an incredible couple of days in Zion. There was snow everywhere and it was very cold. Late on afternoon I caught this tree in shadow against the varnish of sandstone walls. The warm light was comfortable in the frigid winter evening.
