My entire life I have wanted to make it to this very spot on Mono Lake, California. The rock formations called tufas, and are this sort of eerie wonderland. Sunrise was not a disappointment, and was a peaceful moment of exploration.

I call this photo “Life on Mars”. I took this with a drone over the Christmas Valley Sand Dunes in central Oregon. This was right as the sun was setting in the high desert and I love how the shadow of this massive sand dune jumps out as the sun slips under the horizon. These sand dunes are pretty remote but worth the trip if you don't mind a long drive and unpaved roads. You can drive right up on the sand dunes if you have all-wheel drive.

This is a 151-second exposure of a SpaceX Falcon 9 delivering 60 Starlink satellites to orbit on the evening of May 23, 2019. Shot near the 7-story Exploration Tower, the streak and the tower have a nice mirror symmetry. I would love to say that I planned this. I was heading to another spot about 3 miles west to photograph the launch and the new owners had a chain across the road and ominous "No Trespassing" signs, so I had to choose another spot to set up with about 15 minutes to go.

The conditions to take this picture were challenging. There was quite a lot of cars and low light, giving you very little time to take the photo and leaving no possibility to set up a tripod. The aperture couldn't be too high because I wanted to have everything in focus, so I relied on being extra steady.

Waterfalls near Milford Sound, New Zealand. One of the most amazing experiences I've had traveling. This was on the road to Milford Sound in New Zealand. It is one of the rainest places on Earth and it was absolutely pouring when I was there. Waterfalls were forming literally everywhere around, just coming down the sides of the mountains.

Police barricades during the yellow vest protests in Lyon. Police violence is at its highest since 1968. As of now, 23 persons have lost an eye (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D41GrQrX4AAMCB6.jpg:large). Recently an independant journalist, got arrested (https://twitter.com/GaspardGlanz). The Sivuch, or eared seal, is very impressive in size, which is why Steller, a biologist, when describing an animal, gave it the name "sea lion". Similarity to the king of the savannah is attached to the sea lion by the guard hairs, growing on the back of the neck and shoulders like the mane, and a powerful roar in the bass.

Had a long weekend so I picked up a ticket to Los Angeles and flew out there for some much needed relaxation. Was great to get some content again for the first time since I've moved away from Rome, and the weather really helped pull me out of that winter slump.

Walking around Sydney Mardi Gras 2019 capturing this special event. The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras is one of Australia’s biggest tourist drawcards, with the parade and dance party attracting many international and domestic tourists. It is New South Wales’ second-largest annual event in terms of economic impact, generating an annual income of about A$30 million for the state. The event grew from gay rights parades held annually since 1978 and has been a major help in passing the same-sex marriage legislation in Australia on 9 December 2017.

We drove down this road, chasing the silky, wavering fabric of the last golden light of the day. As we weaved around the rocky bend of this mountainous road, we caught sight of this lonely rock, standing mighty and tall, of which we could only describe as the international step brother of the Swiss Matterhorn

If you visit Thailand and you want to meet some animals such as these Asian Elephants, make sure you do your research. There is a lot of oppressive treatment of these gentle giants for tourism. You should look to visit an elephant sanctuary where the fees are high, where the elephants are free to roam, feed, play and bathe, where there are NEVER any chains or elephant riding. When visiting Chiang Mai - try Elephant Nature Park, who do some wonderful things with animal rescue.

While I was on vacation with my family we stayed at a holiday house with an amazing view on the valley. Because all we did was see the valley and the mountains in the distance we forgot that we were sitting on an amazing view it self. So I threw my drone up and shot this picture of the hillside.

Castel Savoia (in French Château Savoie) is an eighteenth-century villa in eclectic style located in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, in Valle d’Aosta, Italy. After a friend had a short trip here, I was intrigued by the place and decided to give it a try. Walking and exploring on an island in New Zealand called Waiheke when I saw the light on the other side of this type of “entrance”. What wonderful landscape will I find on the other side? How long will the road last until it reaches its destination?

We started hiking a couple hours before sunrise, finding our way up the mountain. The trail was overgrown and very hard to follow at times. We made several wrong turns. There was not a single person in sight at any point on the mountain. All to keep us company was the stories we told of our lives and how God as transformed us as we established new friendships. This picture makes me feel a sense of Awe for Gods creation and Gods creations.

I got the rare opportunity to shoot from one of the tallest buildings in the city of Nashville at sunrise. This photo I got with a Canon 50mm Tilt Shift lens, which makes the buildings and cars below look more like toys than real. It was a fantastic experience.

Last weekend I made the long drive to Bathurst to watch the 12 hour GT race that comes on once a year. Every year they close a public road that drives around a mountain to host a 12 hour endurance race. This year is my third year and I was blown away with the quality of cars that were there.

We visited Paris for a concert, so we didn’t have much time. First thing we did was rushing to the Sacre Coeur which is an magical place to see in Paris. When you turn around from the beautiful cathedral and the charming small shops you’re greeted with this astonishing view of the city. I will never forget that trip - we fell absolutely in love with this city!
