I used this aluminum foil (the one you use to prevent the car from heat). I was unfolded and had those vertical creases. That allowed the light from two color light sources to get arranged like this.

This is Lake Agnes, which can be found by doing any of the Little Beehive, Big Beehive or Lake Agnes trails when you arrive at Lake Louise, Banff. We had a bit of a varied day weather wise, so I set my camera & tripod up on a small bridge and just waited until the wind died down to get this reflection. There's also an awesome Tea House right next to it, however they only take cash so I missed out on some of their famous chocolate cake this time... but next time ;)

I recently went on a 10 day holiday to Banff, Canada. Banff is somewhere that I've wanted to go for about 15 years and it was even better than I expected. I took this photo at the back of Moraine Lake. I went there to get the good photos everyone would expect, but I also wanted to capture shots not everyone thinks about. I made an effort to "Look behind where you're standing" in order to capture something a little different. In this shot, you can see some of the blue glacial ice above the Moraines that surround the Lake and the extremely dynamic weather that you get in the Canadian Rockies.

I was walking around at Pride 2019 in New York to portrait interesting people and scenes. I meet these two women who were so full of joy and happiness and had to try to see if I could capture it somehow. I think it turned out really well and that you feel so much joy looking at how both smile in that kiss.

Discovered in 1781 by the French astronomer and comet hunter, Pierre Méchain, the Sombrero galaxy is a lenticular galaxy, which is a classification between full elliptical and spiral, meaning that it has a disc structure but without spiral arms. It’s about 31 million light years away in the constellation of Virgo and about 50 million light years across (one-third of the Milky Way’s diameter). Astronomers have determined that the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy is about 1 billion solar masses, making it one of the largest in nearby galaxies. They’ve also determined that there are between 1,200 and 2,000 globular clusters present, more than ten times the estimate for the Milky Way’s population, and they’ve been able to correlate the prevalence of globular clusters with the amount of bulge in the galaxy. Using infrared spectroscopy astronomers have also determined that the bulk of star formation occurs within the highly contrasted dust lane. This is 2:20 hours of exposure.

Early June is the best time to visit Giverny, France, home of Claude Monet. It is ideal not only to enjoy most flowers in full bloom, but also because the weather is perfect. As I walked on the main street, I realized that one of the few restaurants there allow you to visit its back garden to enjoy the pastoral vibe, but also visit this old painting studio, where Monet and other Impressionists spent time in the late 19th and early 20th c. The time of the day was also perfect, allowing me to have this ray of sunlight right over the painting tools.

A bright Yellow Warbler who didn't seem the least bit bothered by the heavy rain and wind. He was bouncing around in the low brush in front of my friend and I. It landed on a lot of great perches, some a little distant like this one that gave a great sense of environment and the rain and some closer and right near us. I really likd how the bird was framed in on this perch and you could easily see the heavy rain that was not fun to shoot in but worth it.

I drive by this custom upholstery shop in Revere, Ma everyday and see interesting cars parked out front. I finally got the nerve to pull over an ask if i could take some photos of the car. The owner was very happy and proud that i wanted to take pics of his car and he happily obliged. sometimes all you have to do is ask!

Not only I took this cool picture with a Rycote Blimp and the Sony MDR 7502 headphones, I also recorded the sounds coming from the ricefield. Sound is something that a picture can't tell you. A picture ends by its frame but not the sound! I traveled 35 days from Ho Chi Minh City to Ha Giang and lived another month in Hanoi and created one of the largest sound libraries from Vietnam. Messier 101 - the Pinwheel Galaxy. A grand-design spiral galaxy that's estimated to be approximately 21 million light years away and 170,000 light years across, compared to the Milky Way's 250,000 light year diameter, it's estimated to be home to around one trillion stars - more than double the Milky Way. I recently had the fortune to visit my dream country of Japan. This photo was taken when I visited the city of Kyoto. Kyoto has that New Olde vibe that other cities do not possess. Bustling with countless shrines and the famous Gion district, visiting Kyoto is truly a memorable experience. I took the picture in the famous and crowded Ninenzaka neighborhood alley. Just drop down from Kiyomizu-dera, you will soon find Sanenzaka before reaching Ninenzaka. Along both neighborhoods you will find yourself surrounded with Japanese shops and picturesque cherry blossoms (in the right season)
