I went to the darkest area near my hometown called "Gülper See". It is part of an area where a very low amount of light pollution is. It is well known by a lot of the astrophotographers, because it's also one of the darkest spots here in Germany. When you want to shoot the amazing nightsky in Germany, then you should definitely visit the "Westhavelland" in Brandenburg!

For this shot I went outside during a pretty cold night. I had a good friend with me and also some tea to keep us warm. We couldn’t stay under the starrysky until the core of the milkyway was rising, but the time that I spend outside at night is worth it every single time!
