Some of the Tufas at Mono Lake. They are calcium carbonate formations formed at the bottom of the lake when the lake was deeper. LA water officials started buying water rights and draining the lake in the early 1900's. As the water dropped the tufas were exposed. The historical house of Qajar minister Moshir-ol-Molk Ansari in Isfahan is a masterpiece in the history of Persian architecture. The mansion stands out when compared with its counterparts, thanks to its unique and royal architectural designs and avant-garde structure. The house, which has the largest and most historical sash window in Iran, was officially registered as a national heritage site in 2009. The beautiful ancient house is located near Naqsh-e Jahan Square and on Yakhchal Street in the center of Isfahan. I have combined 9 shots for getting this super-wide angle view.

It was winter time in 2005, in Istanbul.
