My entire life I have wanted to make it to this very spot on Mono Lake, California. The rock formations called tufas, and are this sort of eerie wonderland. Sunrise was not a disappointment, and was a peaceful moment of exploration.

This is Lake Agnes, which can be found by doing any of the Little Beehive, Big Beehive or Lake Agnes trails when you arrive at Lake Louise, Banff. We had a bit of a varied day weather wise, so I set my camera & tripod up on a small bridge and just waited until the wind died down to get this reflection. There's also an awesome Tea House right next to it, however they only take cash so I missed out on some of their famous chocolate cake this time... but next time ;)

This photo stands out a lot, in comparison to my other low light ( Low key ) shots this one up the stakes due to composition, the added smoke, the facial structure and the bright tones caught in the subjects eye. I achieved this high-resolution photo through Nikon's 48megapixel camera D850. Which allowed me to underexpose the image enough to contrast the light v dark whilst maintaining an unpixelated/noiseless image that I could further edit to amplify its end result. The smoke and eye catch the focus vs the previous shots that only catch the eye.

I saw quite a few lakes in Banff, but Moraine Lake is my absolute favourite. No matter the weather, there is some outstanding beauty there; as can be seen here on an overcast day! I can't wait to go back here, I'm totally in love with Canada haha!

Moraine Lake has been somewhere I've wanted to visit for 15 years. Last week I finally managed to go there with my Fiancée and what an absolutely beautiful lake it is. When we landed in Calgary we had a 1.5 hour drive to our hotel in Banff and then slept for 3 hours before going on the drive up to Moraine Lake. We arrived at 5:30 to beat the crowds and got super lucky with the weather as it had rained the night before. This place is very special, and everyone should go and see it at least once. I can't wait to go back

I was walking around at Pride 2019 in New York to portrait interesting people and scenes. I went by a group of people who were posing on the top of a New York yellow cab. They didn't pose less when I approached them with my camera. Somehow it ended up looking like a cover of a hip hop group.

Some of the Tufas at Mono Lake. They are calcium carbonate formations formed at the bottom of the lake when the lake was deeper. LA water officials started buying water rights and draining the lake in the early 1900's. As the water dropped the tufas were exposed. Vibes: "Black Mermaid" by Esthero How? A friend comes over, we chat over tea. Another friend comes over, I introduce them, they click and start chatting. The Sun is going down, I need to take this photo before the light is gone. I excuse myself and let my friends chat, grab the tripod, the remote and a little end table, go in the sunroom, take my clothes off, slip this lacy black gown on, balance on the table and take about 10 photos.
