Had my camera at a conference called Youth Culture at the O2 in East London. Took a few minutes out of a session to wonder around and snap whatever seemed interesting within the ‘Indigo at the O2’ section. These stood out as weird angles and colours.

Last weekend I made the long drive to Bathurst to watch the 12 hour GT race that comes on once a year. Every year they close a public road that drives around a mountain to host a 12 hour endurance race.

This year is my third year and I was blown away with the quality of cars that were there. Like one of my other photos at the same event I took this shot to show the blend between man and machine, to show that behind the race car that is on the track there is a hard working team putting that car together.

Taken after the wedding actually The happy bride started to get ready at noon and we left her house in a super hurry, like 1h before the sunset hoping to still catch a bit of light (in Philippines the sunset is really early - at that time around 5 pm). Anyway, initially we supposed to shoot at a local football stadium but 🙂, because we arrived there “too late” everything was closed already (Sunday afternoon) and not even a guard to bribe around 😬. Due to mentioned facts we had no choice anymore so… we had to stop the car just like that, next to a plain field… and voila, this is the result :)

The Cape Hatteras lighthouse, captured with love on a brisk evening in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Even without the proper gear for a long exposure shot like this, I think it still turned out alright.

I'd also like to give a shout out to the state and national park services for all they do to preserve the natural beauty found within our country. They make a huge difference and I really can't thank them enough.

Fog rolls down into Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand at sunset. I was driving towards Queenstown, NZ in an attempt to shoot the Remarkables for sunset. I was running behind schedule to make it in time, and was driving along Lake Wakatipu when the light began to change. I came across a small rest area/campground(side note, NZ is awesome for that #vanlife!) and hiked down to the lake and began shooting. Fog began to roll over the mountain and it was much more beautiful in person than this shot captures. As the sun got further down, it illuminated the clouds above in color making a spectacular sunset. I wished I had a stronger ND filter for a long exposure here, but had only grabbed the 3 stop instead of 10 stop before I left.

A moody morning down at durdle door. The lack of sunrise light meant I tried out a few different kind of shots, utilising the waves on show to get some lovely trails looking towards bats head. You can't beat this place there is always a shot!

I took this shot while vacationing in Disney World with my wife. Epcot has always been my favorite park due to the magnificent architecture that represents several regions of the world. The Epcot ball is one of the most recognizable pieces of architecture at Disney World and at night it lights up with beautiful vibrant colors. I wanted to capture this moment where the geometric shape and the color all came together!

I used a Sony a7rii with a 35mm 1.4 lens with an ISO of 2500 and shutter speed of 1/125.

A grand-design spiral galaxy that's estimated to be approximately 21 million light years away and 170,000 light years across, compared to the Milky Way's 250,000 light year diameter, it's estimated to be home to around one trillion stars - more than double the Milky Way. Its asymmetrical shape is due to gravitational forces from surrounding smaller galaxies, one of which is visible in the upper right of the frame, a smaller elliptical galaxy, NGC 5204.

This shot is just about ten hours (118 x 300s) of total exposure taken with a ZWO ASI294MC-Pro through an Explore Scientific ED127CF at 952mm focal length.

Gedhun Choekyi Nyima was recognised by the Dalai Lama as the 11th Panchen Lama on 14 May 1995 at the age of six. Three days later, on 17 May, he along with his parents went missing. Reffered as “Tibet’s Stolen Child”, he is the youngest political prisoner in the world.

The air seems to create such a diffuse quality to the light around sunset, providing all sorts of pastel shades of color. Maybe it's the fine dust scattering the light. This is similar to a shot I posted a little bit ago, but at a later time. You can see how the bright golden light of the sun in the previous shot before sunset, changes into the soft, diffuse light of after sunset.

It’s about 31 million light years away in the constellation of Virgo and about 50 million light years across (one-third of the Milky Way’s diameter). Astronomers have determined that the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy is about 1 billion solar masses, making it one of the largest in nearby galaxies. They’ve also determined that there are between 1,200 and 2,000 globular clusters present, more than ten times the estimate for the Milky Way’s population, and they’ve been able to correlate the prevalence of globular clusters with the amount of bulge in the galaxy. According to a local I talked to, this building is about 130 years old and used to be a hotel and brothel. It’s located in the tiny unincorporated community of Fort Klamath in Southern Oregon. I had to stand on a highway to get this photo but I love how the wood textures turned out. I especially love the random door on the second floor.

I arrived in Yosemite at 5:20 a.m. in order to catch the sunrise at Tunnel View, but the clouds ruined the view. So I wandered the valley for some other sight to behold and found this beautiful reflection in the flooded waters of Yosemite valley.

I recently went on a 10 day holiday to Banff, Canada. Banff is somewhere that I've wanted to go for about 15 years and it was even better than I expected. I took this photo at the back of Moraine Lake. I went there to get the good photos everyone would expect, but I also wanted to capture shots not everyone thinks about. I made an effort to "Look behind where you're standing" in order to capture something a little different. In this shot, you can see some of the blue glacial ice above the Moraines that surround the Lake and the extremely dynamic weather that you get in the Canadian Rockies.

I bought a roll of unexposed film that expired in 1974 on eBay, but when it came it turned out the roll was already exposed!
So I sent it off to the lovely folks at Harman Lab who took on the challenge of developing this 45 year old roll of film.

How? A friend comes over, we chat over tea. Another friend comes over, I introduce them, they click and start chatting. The Sun is going down, I need to take this photo before the light is gone. I excuse myself and let my friends chat, grab the tripod, the remote and a little end table, go in the sunroom, take my clothes off, slip this lacy black gown on, balance on the table and take about 10 photos. Slip my clothes back on, put everything back, my friends did not even notice I was gone. Whatever it takes...
