Long exposure of vehicles traveling along the Rt. 97 Scenic Byway. As can been seen from the shot, this is the famous section at Hawk’s Nest that has multiple tight s-bends. The pull-offs along this section give magnificent elevated views of the Delaware River.

The Boardman Tree farm in northern Oregon was an incredible place to visit. The 25,000 acres of poplar trees made for an almost otherworldly experience in the fall. The farm was sold in January of 2016 to be cut down and used for cow pastures and agriculture. This photo was taken during during the autumn of 2016 before the bulk of the man made forest was removed. Small sections reportedly still remain, but not at the mind blowing scale of a few years ago.

We were about to leave until we found this lantern in the back. The final end product was this simple, yet moody photo that is, to this day, one of my favorite captures.

Shooting at night becomes a trend for my car photography. Of course, taking photos at low light, it’s way over my skills, techniques and the gear I have. Miraculously they came out quite pleasant. All this comes unexpectedly because these sessions are never planned, and I just had the chance to have my camera in the trunk and pass by a well-lighted parking lot.

It´s simple a drop of water…one of the most amazing things on earth. Last weekend I made the long drive to Bathurst to watch the 12 hour GT race that comes on once a year. Every year they close a public road that drives around a mountain to host a 12 hour endurance race. This year is my third year and I was blown away with the quality of cars that were there. Like one of my other photos at the same event I took this shot to show the blend between man and machine, to show that behind the race car that is on the track there is a hard working team putting that car together.

Taken after the wedding actually The happy bride started to get ready at noon and we left her house in a super hurry, like 1h before the sunset hoping to still catch a bit of light (in Philippines the sunset is really early - at that time around 5 pm). Anyway, initially we supposed to shoot at a local football stadium but 🙂, because we arrived there “too late” everything was closed already (Sunday afternoon) and not even a guard to bribe around 😬. Due to mentioned facts we had no choice anymore so… we had to stop the car just like that, next to a plain field… and voila, this is the result :)

Violence continues, even though Amnesty International and the UN condemned the use of excessive force against protesters (https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2018/12/police-must-end-use-of-excessive-force-against-protesters-and-high-school-children-in-france/).

The Cape Hatteras lighthouse, captured with love on a brisk evening in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Even without the proper gear for a long exposure shot like this, I think it still turned out alright. I'd also like to give a shout out to the state and national park services for all they do to preserve the natural beauty found within our country. They make a huge difference and I really can't thank them enough.

Fog rolls down into Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand at sunset. I was driving towards Queenstown, NZ in an attempt to shoot the Remarkables for sunset. I was running behind schedule to make it in time, and was driving along Lake Wakatipu when the light began to change. I came across a small rest area/campground(side note, NZ is awesome for that #vanlife!) and hiked down to the lake and began shooting. Fog began to roll over the mountain and it was much more beautiful in person than this shot captures. As the sun got further down, it illuminated the clouds above in color making a spectacular sunset. I wished I had a stronger ND filter for a long exposure here, but had only grabbed the 3 stop instead of 10 stop before I left.

A moody morning down at durdle door. The lack of sunrise light meant I tried out a few different kind of shots, utilising the waves on show to get some lovely trails looking towards bats head. You can't beat this place there is always a shot!
