This is Lake Agnes, which can be found by doing any of the Little Beehive, Big Beehive or Lake Agnes trails when you arrive at Lake Louise, Banff. We had a bit of a varied day weather wise, so I set my camera & tripod up on a small bridge and just waited until the wind died down to get this reflection. There's also an awesome Tea House right next to it, however they only take cash so I missed out on some of their famous chocolate cake this time... but next time ;)

I recently went on a 10 day holiday to Banff, Canada. Banff is somewhere that I've wanted to go for about 15 years and it was even better than I expected. I took this photo at the back of Moraine Lake. I went there to get the good photos everyone would expect, but I also wanted to capture shots not everyone thinks about. I made an effort to "Look behind where you're standing" in order to capture something a little different. In this shot, you can see some of the blue glacial ice above the Moraines that surround the Lake and the extremely dynamic weather that you get in the Canadian Rockies.

I took this after hiking down to the bottom of this almost 200-foot waterfall in Marion County, Oregon. I wanted to capture the awesome rock shelf and the wild flowers blooming on its ledge, along with that beautiful old-growth forest in the background.

Early June is the best time to visit Giverny, France, home of Claude Monet. It is ideal not only to enjoy most flowers in full bloom, but also because the weather is perfect. As I walked on the main street, I realized that one of the few restaurants there allow you to visit its back garden to enjoy the pastoral vibe, but also visit this old painting studio, where Monet and other Impressionists spent time in the late 19th and early 20th c. The time of the day was also perfect, allowing me to have this ray of sunlight right over the painting tools.

A bright Yellow Warbler who didn't seem the least bit bothered by the heavy rain and wind. He was bouncing around in the low brush in front of my friend and I. It landed on a lot of great perches, some a little distant like this one that gave a great sense of environment and the rain and some closer and right near us. I really likd how the bird was framed in on this perch and you could easily see the heavy rain that was not fun to shoot in but worth it.

Shot on Going to the Sun Road in Glacier NP, Montana, USA. The sunset light I had hoped for was replaced with an overcast sky and some low cloud cover. I was pretty much done for the evening when I was driving back and noticed the fast moving clouds moving among the mountains.

ive been to this location 3 times now the first two times i didn't get a shot due to bad weather ( im talking 3 years not 3 attempts ) now bare in mind you have to get a boat out to this loch then climb a 3000 foot mountain . in my mind mission complete hope you can all use this photo for whatever you need

This excursion to the Cime Bianche Lakes, Breuil-Cervinia in the Valtournenche, was among the most beautiful excursions I did. The path is not so difficult and allows you to see breathtaking views. The conditions to take this picture were challenging. There was quite a lot of cars and low light, giving you very little time to take the photo and leaving no possibility to set up a tripod. The aperture couldn't be too high because I wanted to have everything in focus, so I relied on being extra steady.

I somehow wanted to allow my pain and loss to take over any sense of joy or peace I felt. Not only I took this cool picture with a Rycote Blimp and the Sony MDR 7502 headphones, I also recorded the sounds coming from the ricefield. Sound is something that a picture can't tell you. A picture ends by its frame but not the sound! I traveled 35 days from Ho Chi Minh City to Ha Giang and lived another month in Hanoi and created one of the largest sound libraries from Vietnam.
