I used this aluminum foil (the one you use to prevent the car from heat). I was unfolded and had those vertical creases. That allowed the light from two color light sources to get arranged like this.

Got up very early to capture this dramatic sunrise across the Badlands in South Dakota. A storm had just blown through and there are hints of a rainbow in the distance. Love the balance of detail between the land and the sky.

Hike 3 miles to get to this falls. Came early hoping that no one else would be here. With an empty parking lot and no one on the trail, I had a peaceful walk and great exploring of the falls and river to myself. Found a perfect spot for the light just as it got high enough above the horizon. An instant favorite of mine.

According to a local I talked to, this building is about 130 years old and used to be a hotel and brothel. It’s located in the tiny unincorporated community of Fort Klamath in Southern Oregon. I had to stand on a highway to get this photo but I love how the wood textures turned out. I especially love the random door on the second floor.

The light of the setting sun hits Mt Cook with the glacial water of the Hooker River in the foreground. This was just off the Hooker Valley Track in New Zealand. The hike was awesome, and hard to beat in the views per mile/difficulty level. It's a relatively short, flat hike that has 3 cool bridges and great views in every direction.

This photo was shot from a place quite remote to the public, especially at the time it was shot. Almost no post processing was necessary. It has a special place for me because I hiked both mountains and stayed at the mountain it was shot from. Everyone tells me how it should be the next Apple default desktop which makes it even more special to me on how people see the image.

Fog rolls down into Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand at sunset. I was driving towards Queenstown, NZ in an attempt to shoot the Remarkables for sunset. I was running behind schedule to make it in time, and was driving along Lake Wakatipu when the light began to change. I came across a small rest area/campground(side note, NZ is awesome for that #vanlife!) and hiked down to the lake and began shooting. Fog began to roll over the mountain and it was much more beautiful in person than this shot captures. As the sun got further down, it illuminated the clouds above in color making a spectacular sunset. I wished I had a stronger ND filter for a long exposure here, but had only grabbed the 3 stop instead of 10 stop before I left.

Has been circling around the spherical cinema in EC1 in Łódź taking lots of photos, finally got the one that I'm content with. Editing gave it A LOT, so I hope it doesn't fall into "overly edited" category :)

I took this shot while vacationing in Disney World with my wife. Epcot has always been my favorite park due to the magnificent architecture that represents several regions of the world. The Epcot ball is one of the most recognizable pieces of architecture at Disney World and at night it lights up with beautiful vibrant colors. I wanted to capture this moment where the geometric shape and the color all came together! I used a Sony a7rii with a 35mm 1.4 lens with an ISO of 2500 and shutter speed of 1/125.

The Aga Khan Museum is a one of a kind in its simplistic oriental design. It's definitely a Toronto hidden gem. This setting was perfect for my #WhitespaceProject seeking minimalistic styles in everyday photography. Although we had to leave, on our way out of the museum, I jumped with excitement when I saw the direct sunlight making the white marble wall glow. The shot was definitely worth the time. ~ Check out more of my photos on instagram.com/elamir3mmar ~

Your first guess might have been a desert, the second guess might have been a beach. Welcome to Stockton, which is both. It's a vast land that has huge dunes close to the ocean. First Australians lived here long before it was used as a WWII fortification against the Japanese (because it legit looks big and convenient for an entire troop to land here, like the Dunkirk) Visit this place during the summer to see spectacular sunsets

For this International Women’s Day, I reflect on my best friend: A nurse who has help save countless lives, a sister/daughter/aunt who ferociously advocates for her family, a traveler, who loves to experience the world around her, a lover who sacrifices selflessly, a student who can never learn enough, and most importantly, a human, with intrinsic infinite value. Caitlyn, this day is for you.

Walking around Sydney Mardi Gras 2019 capturing this special event. The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras is one of Australia’s biggest tourist drawcards, with the parade and dance party attracting many international and domestic tourists. It is New South Wales’ second-largest annual event in terms of economic impact, generating an annual income of about A$30 million for the state. The event grew from gay rights parades held annually since 1978 and has been a major help in passing the same-sex marriage legislation in Australia on 9 December 2017.

Foladafoss Waterfall is one of the most unexcepted waterfall I’ve seen in Iceland. Near to the Road 1 in the East, we had to climb the crazy and dangerous Öxi-Pass in the fog to find it.

It has always been a dream to travel to Micronesia, but it’s a whole other story to get the opportunity to go, and dive the biggest graveyard of WWII ships in the world. The place I am speaking of is Chuck Lagoon of the Federated States of Micronesia, located about 1,000km south east from Guam on the Pacific Ocean. This is the remains of one of the merchant ships that sunk during Operation Hailstorm that took place in 1944.

The Făgăraș mountains had quite a show going on during a splitboarding and avalanche training session in the Bâlea area. The mix of colours was surreal during this sunset, we could only stare for the whole very few minutes that the colour show lasted.
