Hike 3 miles to get to this falls. Came early hoping that no one else would be here. With an empty parking lot and no one on the trail, I had a peaceful walk and great exploring of the falls and river to myself. Found a perfect spot for the light just as it got high enough above the horizon. An instant favorite of mine.

I recently went on a 10 day holiday to Banff, Canada. Banff is somewhere that I've wanted to go for about 15 years and it was even better than I expected. I took this photo at the back of Moraine Lake. I went there to get the good photos everyone would expect, but I also wanted to capture shots not everyone thinks about. I made an effort to "Look behind where you're standing" in order to capture something a little different. In this shot, you can see some of the blue glacial ice above the Moraines that surround the Lake and the extremely dynamic weather that you get in the Canadian Rockies.

I took this photo of Gordon the Bornean orang-utan (Pongo pygmaeus) who was born on 09/12/97 at Monkey World. He was born prematurely and had to spend the first month of his life in an incubator, however, he is now a dominant male with fully developed cheek pads. Gordon sat at the glass for a long time and likewise, I stood waiting patiently to capture his character as he sat staring into the lens.

Sign in a hotel in Bournemouth. Simply a misunderstood genius. It made me smile and also mention to my husband that the sign was definitely there for him. It makes me feel happy and laugh at the humour of the sign.

Peer pressure can be extremely strong and hard to resist.Bad peer pressure is being forced into doing something that you didn't want to do because your friends said that you should.Friends have a tendency to think that they know what is best for you, and if your friends are like some of mines, they always offer their opinion whether it is wanted or not.One of the major problems with peer pressure occurs when you get sucked into something that you really didn't want to do and subsequently, become addicted to it.Usually, people get backed into a situation to try illegal drugs etc.

We walked for a couple of kilometers on the Great Wall of China and that felt like a lot of walking. The Wall is thousands of kilometers long. I don't think a single human can understand the sheer magnitude of this incredible thing, yet we were somehow able to build it.

Pup play is when one person takes on the role of a pup or handler. The pup acts like their canine counterpart and the trainer, for the most part, handles the pup like he would a biological puppy. For many it serves as a release of the primal animal part of them.

I pulled out my Banana-grams game and put this together for the final week of our A-Z Photo Challenge. With “Zebra” , “Unsplash” and “The” “End”. I took a bunch of shots like this until I realized I spelled it “Unslash”, I was missing the p. So I added that back in and took a bunch more.

For this International Women’s Day, I reflect on my best friend: A nurse who has help save countless lives, a sister/daughter/aunt who ferociously advocates for her family, a traveler, who loves to experience the world around her, a lover who sacrifices selflessly, a student who can never learn enough, and most importantly, a human, with intrinsic infinite value. Caitlyn, this day is for you.

According to a 2018 McKinsey report, China boasts 114 of the world’s 147 female, self-made billionaires (America has 14). And almost 50% more women hold professional or technical jobs for every 100 men in the Philippines. Asia is one of the most progressive regions for women, yet stereotypes of what Asian women are like and look like persist. BBH Singapore’s ‘See Different’ collection of images seeks to change that by showing the true diversity and personality of women across the Asian region. This is my submission for International Women’s Day. You see this image told a completely different story before, but something I never forgot about was the secondary story that crept into my mind and would stay there for when the time was right. The time is now perfect. While the original story we told was to do with manipulation for ones own personal gain as seen by the expression on the background model’s face, I realised this image could also tell the story of empowering others. And more specifically in this case, women empowering other women which I saw as a great strength!

When we were in the Wadi Rum desert, we spent the night in a bedouin camp right in the middle of the desert. We slept in tents under the desert stars. We woke up before sunrise and headed for a walk. Seeing these camels with the sun rising behind them was something out of this world. A memory I will forever treasure. Glad I had my camera with me!

I’ve been visiting this part of the California coastline since before I can remember. Every year my parents would take my siblings and I camping in the redwoods just a few miles away from this very stretch of Hwy 1. I still come back to this place whenever I get a chance, it’s just too beautiful and too full of fond memories to stay away for long. This morning was my first time visiting with a drone, and it was an incredible experience getting to see this place that I love from a new perspective

A little planet is a projection method of a 360 photo. Last 7 years I shot several hundreds of these at cities around the world. Mainly to upload to Google Maps to help people prepare their holiday or weekend trip to. My Google Maps collection is one of the most viewed collections in the world and in 2018 I won the official Google Streetview Challenge in Japan for one of my submissions. The way I get the most interesting view of a location is from a 6 meter high monopod. The elevation of the camera gives a way better overview 360 photo’s won’t work here but tiny planet’s do

Know the symptoms. I wanted to create a simplistic and bold stand-out visual that would draw peoples attention to then want to read more about the important message. The three circles highlight the areas that the main symptoms occur, with a very direct message to clarify. Image created by So Fia. Submitted for United Nations Global Call Out To Creatives - help stop the spread of COVID-19.
