Be my hero to professor with love

I saw quite a few lakes in Banff, but Moraine Lake is my absolute favourite. No matter the weather, there is some outstanding beauty there; as can be seen here on an overcast day! I can't wait to go back here, I'm totally in love with Canada haha!

@photoconic_love is my new Instagram feed. @iamsherise.photography is my older feed when I started out. It is rusty but I'd love to have you on either or both! :) If you want to request any photos from there to be uploaded here for commercial use, I'd be happy to do that!

This was my first ever maternity shoot, and I got to do it with my best friend and her soon-to-be-here son!

For this International Women’s Day, I reflect on my best friend: A nurse who has help save countless lives, a sister/daughter/aunt who ferociously advocates for her family, a traveler, who loves to experience the world around her, a lover who sacrifices selflessly, a student who can never learn enough, and most importantly, a human, with intrinsic infinite value. Caitlyn, this day is for you.

The girl in the picture is my friend. The only girl I know who is fearless, tough, strong and active. I always get inspired by her. She loves to study, study and study. She is a University debater and she won Miss Malaysian Indian 2018. She had so many struggles in her life to be in this position. She just finished her Tesl (Teaching English As A Second Language) and now she continues her masters. Happy International Women’s Day.

I love elegant and minimal images, and not to mention, anything that involves florals. Every week I purchase florals from Trader Joes and practice my photography skills shooting them with simple props from around home. Hence, the image you see here! Also, the lovely mini plates are from Magnolia! To shoot this image, I used natural lighting, and some foam board to style the props on. I will rearrange and crop for a variety as well!
