We took a little trip to the east of tenerife. At one point we left our car in a parking lot... We went for a swim and enjoyed the sun on our faces. Later that day, when we came back to get our car, the parking lot was closed!🤦🏼‍♂️ We asked people in the restaurants nearby but nobody seemed to be able to help us. A very kind man who lived in a village which wasn’t far from the parking lot said he would drive back into the village and ask the people there who could open the parking area. In the meantime my friends and I watched the beautiful sunset and I took this picture.🌄 After waiting for ages, someone came and opened the parking lot for us. Even though it was annoying at first, I’d say we did make the best out of a bad situation.👏🏼

Took this in the bay of Dunsborough, WA. Saw this little buddy all by itself, and couldn't resist capturing this moment. :)

This is our star being eclipsed by our moon during an annular eclipse. I viewed this in Tokyo during the early hours of May 20th, 2012. I still remember the anticipation in everyone's faces due to the fact that the clouds would not open the sky to us but also because the light around us began to dim and we knew our window of opportunity to see the eclipse was fading. It was only in the last 10 or so minutes did the clouds thin out and leave a very translucent layer for the sun to be able to shine its light through for us to see a massive ring appear above us.

I think like you that it is the most beautiful mountain in the Alps and even of the world. To wake up each morning in front of this mountain is the most beautiful thing.

We walked for a couple of kilometers on the Great Wall of China and that felt like a lot of walking. The Wall is thousands of kilometers long. I don't think a single human can understand the sheer magnitude of this incredible thing, yet we were somehow able to build it.

It has always been a dream to travel to Micronesia, but it’s a whole other story to get the opportunity to go, and dive the biggest graveyard of WWII ships in the world. The place I am speaking of is Chuck Lagoon of the Federated States of Micronesia, located about 1,000km south east from Guam on the Pacific Ocean. This is the remains of one of the merchant ships that sunk during Operation Hailstorm that took place in 1944.

[…]But the deeper emotional experience was me standing in the water and looking. The water was still quite warm. Way warmer than the air around so I was naturally drawn to stay. It felt like the water around my legs, the wind, the fresh air that filled my lungs, the scenery of the setting sun […] It’s the same story like the other popular Picture of this scene. It was so amazing. Even when I think of this now, my internal World calms down. the whole text doesn’t fit here :) More to read at Instagram @le_me_sane

It has been photographed a billion times, but I always find something that interests me. This trip was no different. I tried shooting up into the crevasse above to capture the subtle ways light would play down the edges and smooth sides of the polished sandstone.

Legend has it that Java island was was once floating on the ocean, unstable and shaky. The Gods decided to move a piece of Mount Meru from India and nail it down to the earth so that the whole island of Java would stop moving. This new mountain ( the one in the picture) is then called Semeru.

For this International Women’s Day, I reflect on my best friend: A nurse who has help save countless lives, a sister/daughter/aunt who ferociously advocates for her family, a traveler, who loves to experience the world around her, a lover who sacrifices selflessly, a student who can never learn enough, and most importantly, a human, with intrinsic infinite value. Caitlyn, this day is for you.

According to a 2018 McKinsey report, China boasts 114 of the world’s 147 female, self-made billionaires (America has 14). And almost 50% more women hold professional or technical jobs for every 100 men in the Philippines. Asia is one of the most progressive regions for women, yet stereotypes of what Asian women are like and look like persist. BBH Singapore’s ‘See Different’ collection of images seeks to change that by showing the true diversity and personality of women across the Asian region. I did this Kayak Tour of the Milford Sound on a recent trip to New Zealand with Urban Armor Gear. After racing a colleague directly across the sound (about 1/2 mile), I pulled my camera out while resting and waiting for the rest of the group to catch up. The kayak was narrow and would easily tip so every movement on the kayak was tedious. Here I balanced my phone while taking a picture of the fog and light rain which gave the fiordlands an eerie feeling. Due to the lack of light, the only thing color that really stood out was my kayak and dry bag.
