Big Bend National Park doesn't allow dogs on its trails, so when my husband and I pulled up to a viewing area across from Santa Elena Canyon, we decided to trade off and I stayed behind first under this beautiful blooming Sweet Acacia (Huisache) tree with our pup while my husband walked down the river trail to the Rio Grande.

The Aga Khan Museum is a one of a kind in its simplistic oriental design. It's definitely a Toronto hidden gem. This setting was perfect for my #WhitespaceProject seeking minimalistic styles in everyday photography. Although we had to leave, on our way out of the museum, I jumped with excitement when I saw the direct sunlight making the white marble wall glow. Whatever mental thing you have or you are going through, remember it is All in your head. Be kind to yourself even if the society is cruel. Sometimes write it down. Don't judge. Psychiatrist would give you a medicine and ask you the same questions. But it won't heal you for sure. Only creativity and love can. Stay bold. We are all gifted.

I’ve been so used to sharing photos from my travels and vacations that I haven’t spent much time actually practicing the art of photographing. I’m trying to shift gears from only enjoying the photo editing process to enjoying the capturing process. It’s happening somewhat naturally, and it’s one of those things that just seem like the planets are aligning. This is something really exciting for me and I’m looking forward to seeing where my photography is at in another 3 months!

In Spain there is a very serious situation with the murder and abandonment of Galgos. Thousands die every year. Sira was 3 years old when her owner cut her throat to remove the identification chip required in Spain. She was no longer fit to run because she was too old. Then he probably tried to kill her with a blow to the head. A greyhound shelter in our province, cured her and found a home for her. When Sonia and I saw her we fell in love with her. Today his more than fifty scars are still there but after two years with his real family he is finally happy. A exception.

Visiting an exhibition on Matadero in Madrid, my friend and I found this installation from Mandalaki, it’s called DI_LIGHTFUL. It’s a small room with lights that create circles of very different colours. We just went nuts with it, I think we took about 50 pictures just in this place. We’ve been in Madrid for a couple of days now for work, and we are simply in love with the city. If anyone is considering visiting, DO IT. It’s amazing. The classic and the modern all together, beautiful and welcoming people, lots of art, opportunities and great moments.

If you visit Thailand and you want to meet some animals such as these Asian Elephants, make sure you do your research. There is a lot of oppressive treatment of these gentle giants for tourism. You should look to visit an elephant sanctuary where the fees are high, where the elephants are free to roam, feed, play and bathe, where there are NEVER any chains or elephant riding. When visiting Chiang Mai - try Elephant Nature Park, who do some wonderful things with animal rescue.

The Făgăraș mountains had quite a show going on during a splitboarding and avalanche training session in the Bâlea area. The mix of colours was surreal during this sunset, we could only stare for the whole very few minutes that the colour show lasted.
