She could suddenly become a whole other character. A second ago she was laughing and then she decided to go deep into thoughts ... like her soul started a very slow dance, her hands were floating in air, she closed her eyes and ... I shot the moment she suddenly impressed me. Not much have changed in this photo. I'm not fan of extreme editing even though I sometimes try them. I decided not to even remove her hair from her hands because to me this is what made her original.

Rinjani. Last week hike to this beautiful crater lake was quite intense. First day was rough. Nine hours of hike with both legs cramped the whole path. Not sure if it is because I'm out of shape by now, or is it my backpack that was too heavy. Or am I just getting old? Second day was better though. That was another 6 hours hike until we finally reach Plawangan, where I took this picture. Literally cried when I saw the lake. It was magnificent. The scale is insane. We were walking under the rain most of the day on the third day. I already had a feeling that there might be flood in one of the four rivers that we crossed. That's exactly what happened. Thankfully the water was still less than half of my height so getting across was still possible. Overall this hike is one of the best and most scenic walk I ever did! And especially because I get to share this trip with one of my best friends.

The last section of Lions Head is always the toughest. What you see in the photo is a couple of hikers starting that last section while Table Mountain stands tall at the back.

When your best friend is this stunning how can you not take photos of her? fact 1 - we drank our weight in tequila on this day before this impromptu photoshoot. fact 2 - we have been best friends since elementary fact 3 - when she laughs really hard she snorts and that is what is happening right here

It's one of the two shot of the two shots of the "meteor shower" project. And one of my first projects using the "funnel paint pour" technique. It was supposed to look pastel, delicate with smooth transitions. But the paint always does what it wants ;)

Part of what I love about photography is the limitless possibilities and chances to be creative. We had a whole photo shoot planned out until it began to rain. We were about to leave until we found this lantern in the back. The final end product was this simple, yet moody photo that is, to this day, one of my favorite captures.

Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.

I was hiking around Yosemite and photographing with a variety of lenses. I took several shots with a 28mm f2 and some with my 50mm f1.8. It seemed I was capturing good pictures but all of them only slightly deviated from the typical pictures you see of these colossal rocks. On whim I pulled out my dad’s old 200mm Minolta Rokkor telephoto lens that used in the 1970s with his XD11. I started shooting with this heavy old lens and quickly became obsessed with the details and colors it showed. Somehow a lens with a narrower field of view helped show just how giant and beautiful El Capitan is.

This picture is what the entire courtyard looks like at the Casa Marina Hotel. The building was Henry Flagers Key West Residence and is extremely well preserved.

Acrylic paint isn’t very predictable. And quite often I end up with something awful. So I usually try to give the project another try, put some silicone in it, smear it all over and see what I got :)

This is without doubt my favourite urban botanical spots. Located right in the middle of London, in the most brutal of all Brutalist building ever built, the Barbican. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like outside ( usually grey and drizzly) inside the Barbican Conservatory it’s always tropical and always sunny, there’s always something blooming and there’s always something new to discover.

This lady is not Yuen Qiu. If you know the lady with the cigarette in the movie Kung Fu Hustle, Yuen Qiu is what I see in her. I took this during the pre-Chinese new year photowalk.

To be a florist is not for everybody. You should love what you do. Only in this case you can create something great. Flowers is something thats requires additional care and vision of the beauty. It is like a child. Their lifes is too short. But their life is so beautiful and it makes millions of people happier.

According to a 2018 McKinsey report, China boasts 114 of the world’s 147 female, self-made billionaires (America has 14). And almost 50% more women hold professional or technical jobs for every 100 men in the Philippines. Asia is one of the most progressive regions for women, yet stereotypes of what Asian women are like and look like persist. The smaller mountain in the front is the Daniel. What a lovely name :) Right beside it is the Plattberg. Both are located in Tirol in Austria right at the border to Germany.

I love the urban scene and this background popped so much with the amazing depth of field. Honestly, love showing the urban POV and telling a little story. You never know what you will find looking down an alley.

Waking up early in the morning, I took my gear and went to shoot some nice aerial shots of this beautiful island in Maldives. From the moment I saw this road, I knew that this is what I wanted that day. I unpacked my gear and flew it up above this road and got an outstanding view.

Walking and exploring on an island in New Zealand called Waiheke when I saw the light on the other side of this type of “entrance”. What wonderful landscape will I find on the other side? How long will the road last until it reaches its destination?
