The cherry blossoms only last a few weeks in a year, and my partner and I were lucky enough to hire a Porsche from Tokyo and be in the perfect sport to capture these blossoms at Mt Fuji.

She could suddenly become a whole other character. A second ago she was laughing and then she decided to go deep into thoughts ... like her soul started a very slow dance, her hands were floating in air, she closed her eyes and ... I shot the moment she suddenly impressed me. Not much have changed in this photo. I'm not fan of extreme editing even though I sometimes try them. I decided not to even remove her hair from her hands because to me this is what made her original.

Rinjani. Last week hike to this beautiful crater lake was quite intense. First day was rough. Nine hours of hike with both legs cramped the whole path. Not sure if it is because I'm out of shape by now, or is it my backpack that was too heavy. Or am I just getting old? Second day was better though. That was another 6 hours hike until we finally reach Plawangan, where I took this picture. Literally cried when I saw the lake. It was magnificent. The scale is insane. We were walking under the rain most of the day on the third day. I already had a feeling that there might be flood in one of the four rivers that we crossed. That's exactly what happened. Thankfully the water was still less than half of my height so getting across was still possible. Overall this hike is one of the best and most scenic walk I ever did! And especially because I get to share this trip with one of my best friends.

ADD ME ON INSTAGRAM: daventuree It’s been a week since I have arrived here in Tenerife. The sunsets at the sea horizon, the spanish food and the incredible landscapes have already earned a special place in my heart.💛 My first weekend trip took me to this surreal place where hundreds of crabs were bustling around this so called “piscinas naturales”. Those natural pools emerged from arbitrary vulcanic streams.🌋

Keystone Office, Praga, Czech republic New modern architecture of Karlin district, Prague. After the devastating flood in 2002, several administrative buildings were built in this part of Prague. The “Keystone office” building is one of them. Architectonically unique Object “Keystone”, which is a modern interpretation of Czech Cubism. The project bears the unmistakable manuscript of Swiss architects Mathias Müller and Daniela Niggli from the world renowned Swiss architectural office EM2N.

We walked for a couple of kilometers on the Great Wall of China and that felt like a lot of walking. The Wall is thousands of kilometers long. I don't think a single human can understand the sheer magnitude of this incredible thing, yet we were somehow able to build it.

Part of what I love about photography is the limitless possibilities and chances to be creative. We had a whole photo shoot planned out until it began to rain. We were about to leave until we found this lantern in the back. The final end product was this simple, yet moody photo that is, to this day, one of my favorite captures.

We spent an afternoon in the desert recently. The Anza Borrego is a fascinating place between Yuma and San Diego. The wildflowers were blooming and Bri wanted to get a few shots with my Mamiya RB.

January 2006, a cold winter’s day with unique cloud formations. Too thick and visible - indeed buoyed by moonlight, night clouds were like day clouds that night. These photos are part of a series exploring night skies with moon prominence. Shots were taken during January 2006 on a Canon 1D Mk2, in Istanbul over Bosphorus skies.

Initially we were disappointed to see clouds covering the sunset, but it ended up being the most stunning part of our trip.

this photo has a funny story. after i composed my shot, i heared dogs barking in the distance but i didnt realize that they were heading my way…with no friendly intentions. i took several shots and when it seemed that the sound was getting closer i moved my attention to the surroundings and i saw 5 pairs of eyes sparkling in the dark and i thought…well…this is it:) but i kept calm and packed all my gear and i used my headlamp to blind them and walked backwards to my car. after i got in the car i realized that i was holding my breath and i laughed :) yeeey i’m alive!

Last day of my vacation, on the way back to the airport. A quick rest at La Marine Langevin in La Réunion. It was worth it. The black rocks and sand were a perfect contrast to the blue sea and sky.

While I was on vacation with my family we stayed at a holiday house with an amazing view on the valley. Because all we did was see the valley and the mountains in the distance we forgot that we were sitting on an amazing view it self. So I threw my drone up and shot this picture of the hillside.

When we were in the Wadi Rum desert, we spent the night in a bedouin camp right in the middle of the desert. We slept in tents under the desert stars. We woke up before sunrise and headed for a walk. Seeing these camels with the sun rising behind them was something out of this world. A memory I will forever treasure. Glad I had my camera with me!

As we arrived at the desert camp, the Berbers were waiting for us near the fireplace. So we sat down and they started singing the Berber music, dancing. The night continued, and finally, we were all dancing around the fire, under the bright Milky Way. February 2019.

Designed by Sarkis Balyan in 1875, the Akaretler Row Houses were built by Sultan Abdulaziz to accommodate the most prominent and high-ranking officials of Dolmabahce Palace. (from http://www.bilgiliholding.com/en/projects/mixed-use/akaretler-row-houses) This is a photo from a series of photographs taken while only a small section of the row houses were restored. It was winter time in 2005, in Istanbul.

When I was a little kid, I dreamed I’m in a church with tall black walls. I was a prisoner cause I could see no windows or doors and I was lost between too many chairs around me! I remember turning my head and there were two girls that were calling my name. I stepped towards them. On of them grabbed me and pulled me to herself. She circled her arms around me and I was ready to kiss her. I got closer and then suddenly I realized she has no face! It freaked me out. I jumped back and fell on a chair. Then they took their knives out and attacked me to rip my face off.

After climbing to the top of this very snowy hill on Danco Island in the Antarctic Peninsula, we were greeted with a full panorama across the bay. When you realise that the boat we were staying on was 147m long, it really made you realise just how monumental and huge this untouched continent is.

6am start for a zodiac cruise in the aptly named Paradise Harbour. As we silently drifted past huge icebergs with the snow falling, we were surrounded by at least 12 ‘bubble net feeding’ humpback whales. Genuinely had no idea which direction to look, they were everywhere! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Paradise indeed.

This picture was taken after a long and intense hike up Table Mountain. We pushed ourselves so hard we were so excited just to sit down and relax up in the clouds. This picture makes me feel a sense of accomplishment.

Lagos was actually the first place I was able to get really close to seagulls. There where a lot of them on the beaches and they were constantly fighting for the places with the best views. I tried to get a close shot and moved a little closer with every picture I took, but at some point my respect of them just got too big, so I stayed away. This one, that was actually taken from further away is definitely my favorite.

We were all terribly sick at this point and had been at it several days. We had an early morning start, not sure how far we’d have to trek until we found a homestay. At mile 8 my teammate slipped and rolled downhill, gaining a concussion ruining her knee. There was nowhere else for us to go though. So we bandaged her up and continued downhill. We stumbled across this village just in time for sunset. Running over this small winter river and into GP.

Last weekend I made the long drive to Bathurst to watch the 12 hour GT race that comes on once a year. Every year they close a public road that drives around a mountain to host a 12 hour endurance race. This year is my third year and I was blown away with the quality of cars that were there.

This picture was taken by pure coincidence. The actual shooting was already over and we were on our way home when we spotted this station. We got out of the car immediately and took some more pictures.

Like one of my other photos at the same event I took this shot to show the blend between man and machine, to show that behind the race car that is on the track there is a hard working team putting that car together.

A small and very cute Egyptian Goose gosling pauses in the morning sun for a short preening session. This little guy and 3 of its siblings were all walking around in the short grass and they stopped right in the morning sun. I laid down low along an embankment so I could get the little ducks’s head up into the dark background and really show off that fuzzy glow. Taken at a local park in Sebastian, Florida.
