A bright Yellow Warbler who didn't seem the least bit bothered by the heavy rain and wind. He was bouncing around in the low brush in front of my friend and I. It landed on a lot of great perches, some a little distant like this one that gave a great sense of environment and the rain and some closer and right near us. I really likd how the bird was framed in on this perch and you could easily see the heavy rain that was not fun to shoot in but worth it.

Rinjani. Last week hike to this beautiful crater lake was quite intense. First day was rough. Nine hours of hike with both legs cramped the whole path. Not sure if it is because I'm out of shape by now, or is it my backpack that was too heavy. Or am I just getting old? Second day was better though. That was another 6 hours hike until we finally reach Plawangan, where I took this picture. Literally cried when I saw the lake. It was magnificent. The scale is insane. We were walking under the rain most of the day on the third day. I already had a feeling that there might be flood in one of the four rivers that we crossed. That's exactly what happened. Thankfully the water was still less than half of my height so getting across was still possible. Overall this hike is one of the best and most scenic walk I ever did! And especially because I get to share this trip with one of my best friends.

After having traveled long minutes, hours, the road of the volcano. Start our trip at 100 meters altitude, and exceed the clouds at 2000. I drive in a virgin forest road, desert, and shaped snake. Here we go for a photo, above the clouds.

I was staying in Southwold again (my favourite place pretty much anywhere in the world). The beach huts are a common thing to photograph (there’s a puncture of them in my unsplash collection) but I’m also fascinated by the breaking waves. I like this shot because of the textures in the breakwater and the shadow created by the water droplets.

It´s simple a drop of water…one of the most amazing things on earth. Really enjoyed shooting this, waited for a couple of hours until the rain stopped, the sun just hit this perfect spot at the right timing. Hope you enjoy it and please share it. There’s nothing like a Michigan beach in my book. The sand is thick and grainy, perfect for afternoon drip castles that can last all day. Seagulls sing for hours, driftwood begs you to find a crafty project, and friends dot the sand without it feeling crowded. Bring a towel, a book, and your best shades because you’re going to be here for a while. Even on overcast days, this is the place to be.
