I have never seen a sunset like this before. The day's storms ended just in time for the clouds to break and unleash quite the show. What a great way to spend a Sunday evening!

Rodney Gainous Jr is the Founder, CEO, and Product Architect of Safe. From humble beginnings, Rodney was born in Detroit, raised in Farmington Hills. Ambitious from a young age; Rodney grew up cutting grass, picking up leaves and shoveling snow to make extra money, a pretty normal existence. Up until he taught himself how to code, building A.I. bots that he sold to 30k+ gamers by the time he was 16, making $200k. Rodney Gainous Jr - https://www.rodneygainous.com Unite Power. Early June is the best time to visit Giverny, France, home of Claude Monet. It is ideal not only to enjoy most flowers in full bloom, but also because the weather is perfect. As I walked on the main street, I realized that one of the few restaurants there allow you to visit its back garden to enjoy the pastoral vibe, but also visit this old painting studio, where Monet and other Impressionists spent time in the late 19th and early 20th c. The time of the day was also perfect, allowing me to have this ray of sunlight right over the painting tools.

I always love taking photos of small objects by a window in my apartment. I was making coffee one morning and the thought just struck me to show off these coffee beans, and what you see is what came of it.

Chile's Valle de la Luna bathed in the soft light of the Atacama desert after sunset. I've talked before about how much I love the light in the desert. The air seems to create such a diffuse quality to the light around sunset, providing all sorts of pastel shades of color. Maybe it's the fine dust scattering the light. This is similar to a shot I posted a little bit ago, but at a later time. You can see how the bright golden light of the sun in the previous shot before sunset, changes into the soft, diffuse light of after sunset.

From the Oh Tilly series "Creative Workspace", this is one of my favourite images because of the shallow depth of field and that adorable #hashtag mug (one of my faves for a morning coffee). There's a local pottery guy, his name is Devil, and he sells these little pots at the Sunday markets. I am so addicted to his pieces and to supporting his business that I pick up more than one every week. My husband rolls his eyes every time, but I've seen him pick them up and admire them. ;)

Birthday weekend in Paris. This sixth and final set is of the monuments and classic tourist buildings of Paris, the end of these photos and the end of a wonderful trip. The city has a lot of problems right now, but if you can look past it, there is so much beauty.

I always find the Grand Canyon a difficult subject. This time we had spotty clouds and shadows and that helped sculpt the canyon edges below.

Part of a small series of the lively and colourful Hoi An town centre during the evening hours. I loved wandering around here. The only downside was it’s too crowdy at times to even make a photo with a tripod.
