The Boardman Tree farm in northern Oregon was an incredible place to visit. The 25,000 acres of poplar trees made for an almost otherworldly experience in the fall. The farm was sold in January of 2016 to be cut down and used for cow pastures and agriculture. This photo was taken during during the autumn of 2016 before the bulk of the man made forest was removed. Small sections reportedly still remain, but not at the mind blowing scale of a few years ago.

I was travelling across Vietnam for a month in 2018. While trekking through a jungle, I came across a cave with a narrow opening and I went in until there was no more light. This is the last bit of the cave that was lit up. after this, it was pure darkness.

The historical house of Qajar minister Moshir-ol-Molk Ansari in Isfahan is a masterpiece in the history of Persian architecture. The mansion stands out when compared with its counterparts, thanks to its unique and royal architectural designs and avant-garde structure. The house, which has the largest and most historical sash window in Iran, was officially registered as a national heritage site in 2009. The beautiful ancient house is located near Naqsh-e Jahan Square and on Yakhchal Street in the center of Isfahan. I have combined 9 shots for getting this super-wide angle view.

Rinjani. Last week hike to this beautiful crater lake was quite intense. First day was rough. Nine hours of hike with both legs cramped the whole path. Not sure if it is because I'm out of shape by now, or is it my backpack that was too heavy. Or am I just getting old? Second day was better though. That was another 6 hours hike until we finally reach Plawangan, where I took this picture. Literally cried when I saw the lake. It was magnificent. The scale is insane. We were walking under the rain most of the day on the third day. I already had a feeling that there might be flood in one of the four rivers that we crossed. That's exactly what happened. Thankfully the water was still less than half of my height so getting across was still possible. Overall this hike is one of the best and most scenic walk I ever did! And especially because I get to share this trip with one of my best friends.

I recently had the fortune to visit my dream country of Japan. This photo was taken when I visited the city of Kyoto. Kyoto has that New Olde vibe that other cities do not possess. Bustling with countless shrines and the famous Gion district, visiting Kyoto is truly a memorable experience. I took the picture in the famous and crowded Ninenzaka neighborhood alley. Just drop down from Kiyomizu-dera, you will soon find Sanenzaka before reaching Ninenzaka. Along both neighborhoods you will find yourself surrounded with Japanese shops and picturesque cherry blossoms (in the right season)

This time it is from really early in the morning when the sun was still behind the mountains, but there was absolutely no wind so I got a perfect reflection of the Zugspitze in the Eibsee. We were all terribly sick at this point and had been at it several days. We had an early morning start, not sure how far we’d have to trek until we found a homestay. At mile 8 my teammate slipped and rolled downhill, gaining a concussion ruining her knee. There was nowhere else for us to go though. So we bandaged her up and continued downhill. We started hiking a couple hours before sunrise, finding our way up the mountain. The trail was overgrown and very hard to follow at times. We made several wrong turns. There was not a single person in sight at any point on the mountain. All to keep us company was the stories we told of our lives and how God as transformed us as we established new friendships. This picture makes me feel a sense of Awe for Gods creation and Gods creations.

I love elegant and minimal images, and not to mention, anything that involves florals. Every week I purchase florals from Trader Joes and practice my photography skills shooting them with simple props from around home. Hence, the image you see here! Also, the lovely mini plates are from Magnolia! To shoot this image, I used natural lighting, and some foam board to style the props on. I will rearrange and crop for a variety as well!
