Another aerial shot taken from my drone over a freight train station. I saw that place from my car and I thought it could be looking more interesting from the air. The rust, the colors over there made it look like a train graveyard. I wish i could go higher with my drone, but in this case I had to follow the rules and fly responsible.

Early June is the best time to visit Giverny, France, home of Claude Monet. It is ideal not only to enjoy most flowers in full bloom, but also because the weather is perfect. As I walked on the main street, I realized that one of the few restaurants there allow you to visit its back garden to enjoy the pastoral vibe, but also visit this old painting studio, where Monet and other Impressionists spent time in the late 19th and early 20th c. The time of the day was also perfect, allowing me to have this ray of sunlight right over the painting tools.

It was a beautiful but windy evening, with small waves rolling in. The off-shore wind made for long peeling waves, and the incoming mist made the nightsky a lush gradient of warm pink and purplish blue hues.

We were up at 3:30am on the day that the clocks went forward to summit the Cobbler and catch the first light of the summer. We made it to the top by 6:30am to catch the sunrise then once we had taken a few shots my friend climbed on top of the Needle (a rocky protrusion on the Cobbler) and looked out towards Ben Lomond. Without a cloud in the sky the light was perfect.

Sign in a hotel in Bournemouth. Simply a misunderstood genius. It made me smile and also mention to my husband that the sign was definitely there for him. It makes me feel happy and laugh at the humour of the sign.

I went to Berlin with some good friends a few weeks ago. We were pretty late for the sunset, but made it just in time. We went up on a terrace of a hotel there to get that view! I'm really happy with the result of that long exposure. What do you think?

She could suddenly become a whole other character. A second ago she was laughing and then she decided to go deep into thoughts ... like her soul started a very slow dance, her hands were floating in air, she closed her eyes and ... I shot the moment she suddenly impressed me. Not much have changed in this photo. I'm not fan of extreme editing even though I sometimes try them. I decided not to even remove her hair from her hands because to me this is what made her original.

Made this image as part of a series that I used to make my food photography workshop poster. Trying to depict a cozy urban breakfast scene in this shot. This was shot using a single light source to camera right. The backdrops and surfaces are made by me using cheaply available materials in the art store.

The Boardman Tree farm in northern Oregon was an incredible place to visit. The 25,000 acres of poplar trees made for an almost otherworldly experience in the fall. The farm was sold in January of 2016 to be cut down and used for cow pastures and agriculture. This photo was taken during during the autumn of 2016 before the bulk of the man made forest was removed. Small sections reportedly still remain, but not at the mind blowing scale of a few years ago.

And almost 50% more women hold professional or technical jobs for every 100 men in the Philippines. (Internation Women’s Day) This young lady was all in for her high school show choir event. I love the energy and the willingness to just throw herself into the performance 100%. The show lights ended up giving this a 1940’s newspaper vibe - which I totally loved and thought made a perfect fit.

After climbing to the top of this very snowy hill on Danco Island in the Antarctic Peninsula, we were greeted with a full panorama across the bay. When you realise that the boat we were staying on was 147m long, it really made you realise just how monumental and huge this untouched continent is.

Growing up in a gift store and furniture restoration business, Ive always love looking at products in stores. I look at the fonts, the words, the possible story behind the words, the chosen colors, how they are merchandised in the store, etc. The bright red HONEY caught my attention and made me wonder: would you rather be called honey or babe?

We started hiking a couple hours before sunrise, finding our way up the mountain. The trail was overgrown and very hard to follow at times. We made several wrong turns. There was not a single person in sight at any point on the mountain. All to keep us company was the stories we told of our lives and how God as transformed us as we established new friendships. This picture makes me feel a sense of Awe for Gods creation and Gods creations.
