I visited Morro Rock at December, 2018. It was little cold that time and the sun went down behind the rock. The cold air from inland casted a blue color and the sun filled with golden color. Some kids played surfing on beach brought more vibrant into the scene.

Every week I purchase flowers from Trader Joes and practice my photography skills shooting them. Usually, I incorporate props from around the home. They can be anything simple from a piece of fabric or little plates I’ve gathered etc. To shoot the images I generally style the items I’ll be using in front/on some foam board. Also, natural light is a must!

This Carolina Wren flew in to the feeders that I had hanging from this gorgeous branch and after having its fill of food it hopped up onto the branch and gave me a few poses. This was my favorite as it stood up tall and right in the one opening in the branches. I had set up to shoot backlit for the feeders because I knew the sun would be too bright for a front lit shot and would look harsh. Using backlight and a row of dark green bushes in shade I was able to capture this dramatically lit shot of the little bird and the beautiful pink spring cherry blossoms.

Taken out to launch pad very early morning.
Preparing for Launch STS-51
During short window before the Service gantry is closed against the Shuttle “Discovery”.
This is from a scan I did from a slide film I took,so quality not 100%.
Note…Most travelled shuttle, 149 million miles, 39 missions, 365 days in orbit over 27 years.
Now in the “Smithsonian Air and Space museum”
