I have long dreamed of catching a sunrise at Lake Tahoe. So I woke at 4:30 to drive to Emerald Bay to capture this stellar moment. Wow, what a moment it was and I'd do it all over.

I call this photo “Life on Mars”. I took this with a drone over the Christmas Valley Sand Dunes in central Oregon. This was right as the sun was setting in the high desert and I love how the shadow of this massive sand dune jumps out as the sun slips under the horizon. These sand dunes are pretty remote but worth the trip if you don't mind a long drive and unpaved roads. You can drive right up on the sand dunes if you have all-wheel drive.

Three minutes before the avalanche left, I was at that spot. Happiness in misfortune, it's a pity that I didn't have more time to adjust the aperture! I also had the old 50mm lens on the camera, which doesn't work properly anymore! Otherwise, it would have become a perfect shot, so it is a hot snapshot!

The light of the setting sun hits Mt Cook with the glacial water of the Hooker River in the foreground. This was just off the Hooker Valley Track in New Zealand. The hike was awesome, and hard to beat in the views per mile/difficulty level. It's a relatively short, flat hike that has 3 cool bridges and great views in every direction.

We took a little trip to the east of tenerife. At one point we left our car in a parking lot... We went for a swim and enjoyed the sun on our faces. Later that day, when we came back to get our car, the parking lot was closed!🤦🏼‍♂️ We asked people in the restaurants nearby but nobody seemed to be able to help us. A very kind man who lived in a village which wasn’t far from the parking lot said he would drive back into the village and ask the people there who could open the parking area. In the meantime my friends and I watched the beautiful sunset and I took this picture.🌄 After waiting for ages, someone came and opened the parking lot for us. Even though it was annoying at first, I’d say we did make the best out of a bad situation.👏🏼

I was walking to the station to catch a train home after a long day when I noticed that the sun, as it was setting, had perfectly singled out this one building across the river. Everything else around me had already entered into the blue haze of the early moments of the night except this one building. It stuck out to me as remarkably beautiful.

The Aga Khan Museum is a one of a kind in its simplistic oriental design. It's definitely a Toronto hidden gem. This setting was perfect for my #WhitespaceProject seeking minimalistic styles in everyday photography. Although we had to leave, on our way out of the museum, I jumped with excitement when I saw the direct sunlight making the white marble wall glow.
