The golden light of the setting sun illuminates the Valle de la Luna in the Atacama Desert, Chile. I have long wanted to visit the Atacama and recently had the chance to do so. It is the driest place on Earth and the otherwordly landscapes look as such.

All you need for this shot is some pomme frites (french fries) and some patience. Let the birds know you have some with a good teaser fry, then hold it where you want them to land. Have the camera ready in the other hand and be ready to hold the trigger for that one good shot. Sadly, though, this beautiful monument of art is in a state of tragedy.

We took a little trip to the east of tenerife. At one point we left our car in a parking lot... We went for a swim and enjoyed the sun on our faces. Later that day, when we came back to get our car, the parking lot was closed!🤦🏼♂️ We asked people in the restaurants nearby but nobody seemed to be able to help us. A very kind man who lived in a village which wasn’t far from the parking lot said he would drive back into the village and ask the people there who could open the parking area. In the meantime my friends and I watched the beautiful sunset and I took this picture.🌄 After waiting for ages, someone came and opened the parking lot for us. Even though it was annoying at first, I’d say we did make the best out of a bad situation.👏🏼

ADD ME ON INSTAGRAM: daventuree It’s been a week since I have arrived here in Tenerife. The sunsets at the sea horizon, the spanish food and the incredible landscapes have already earned a special place in my heart.💛 My first weekend trip took me to this surreal place where hundreds of crabs were bustling around this so called “piscinas naturales”. Those natural pools emerged from arbitrary vulcanic streams.🌋

The Boardman Tree farm in northern Oregon was an incredible place to visit. The 25,000 acres of poplar trees made for an almost otherworldly experience in the fall. The farm was sold in January of 2016 to be cut down and used for cow pastures and agriculture. This photo was taken during during the autumn of 2016 before the bulk of the man made forest was removed. Small sections reportedly still remain, but not at the mind blowing scale of a few years ago.

Durdle Door Durdle Door (sometimes written Durdle Dor) is a natural limestone arch on the Jurassic Coast near Lulworth in Dorset, England. It is privately owned by the Welds, a family who owns 12,000 acres (50 km2) in Dorset in the name of the Lulworth Estate. It is open to the public. this photo has a funny story. after i composed my shot, i heared dogs barking in the distance but i didnt realize that they were heading my way…with no friendly intentions. i took several shots and when it seemed that the sound was getting closer i moved my attention to the surroundings and i saw 5 pairs of eyes sparkling in the dark and i thought…well…this is it:) but i kept calm and packed all my gear and i used my headlamp to blind them and walked backwards to my car. after i got in the car i realized that i was holding my breath and i laughed :) yeeey i’m alive!

The weather was really nice that day and really warm which is not that common at the beginning of November in Germany. The Eibsee is one of my favorite spots in the alps and always worth a visit. If there is no wind you can get awesome reflections in the lake.

I’ve been visiting this part of the California coastline since before I can remember. Every year my parents would take my siblings and I camping in the redwoods just a few miles away from this very stretch of Hwy 1. I still come back to this place whenever I get a chance, it’s just too beautiful and too full of fond memories to stay away for long. This morning was my first time visiting with a drone, and it was an incredible experience getting to see this place that I love from a new perspective

We started hiking a couple hours before sunrise, finding our way up the mountain. The trail was overgrown and very hard to follow at times. We made several wrong turns. There was not a single person in sight at any point on the mountain. All to keep us company was the stories we told of our lives and how God as transformed us as we established new friendships. This picture makes me feel a sense of Awe for Gods creation and Gods creations.

I shot this when I was looking for stuff to shoot around the house. Sometimes I give myself rules like “cannot leave the house” or “must be taken on the hour” to spark creativity. This is my hat and leather jacket on the back of the couch. Light from the door.

A small and very cute Egyptian Goose gosling pauses in the morning sun for a short preening session. This little guy and 3 of its siblings were all walking around in the short grass and they stopped right in the morning sun. I laid down low along an embankment so I could get the little ducks’s head up into the dark background and really show off that fuzzy glow. Taken at a local park in Sebastian, Florida.

A little planet is a projection method of a 360 photo. Last 7 years I shot several hundreds of these at cities around the world. Mainly to upload to Google Maps to help people prepare their holiday or weekend trip to. My Google Maps collection is one of the most viewed collections in the world and in 2018 I won the official Google Streetview Challenge in Japan for one of my submissions. The way I get the most interesting view of a location is from a 6 meter high monopod. The elevation of the camera gives a way better overview 360 photo’s won’t work here but tiny planet’s do
