My entire life I have wanted to make it to this very spot on Mono Lake, California. The rock formations called tufas, and are this sort of eerie wonderland. Sunrise was not a disappointment, and was a peaceful moment of exploration.

Marienbrücke. Amazing place. It's a bridge where you can get most part of the cliches photos of the castle. There's great view from there and you can hike to the different spots to get different photos. There are a lot of short hikes starting from there. This is one of the views you can see when you are inside the Neuschwanstein Castle.

Hike 3 miles to get to this falls. Came early hoping that no one else would be here. With an empty parking lot and no one on the trail, I had a peaceful walk and great exploring of the falls and river to myself. Found a perfect spot for the light just as it got high enough above the horizon. An instant favorite of mine.

Moraine Lake has been somewhere I've wanted to visit for 15 years. Last week I finally managed to go there with my Fiancée and what an absolutely beautiful lake it is. When we landed in Calgary we had a 1.5 hour drive to our hotel in Banff and then slept for 3 hours before going on the drive up to Moraine Lake. We arrived at 5:30 to beat the crowds and got super lucky with the weather as it had rained the night before. This place is very special, and everyone should go and see it at least once. I can't wait to go back

I didn't intend to make the star effect on this photo but when I saw it, I looked up at a sliver of a crescent moon veiled by thin clouds. I decided I like the star effect better. To learn how to take pictures like this, read my educational blogs at www.sharetimsphotos.com.

Some of the Tufas at Mono Lake. They are calcium carbonate formations formed at the bottom of the lake when the lake was deeper. LA water officials started buying water rights and draining the lake in the early 1900's. As the water dropped the tufas were exposed. Sydney's coastal cliffs are a great spot to Highline. Athlete is harnessed and using backup equipment for safety.

Walking across this gap is an impressive feat. Arthur Pera takes a break in the middle of a 173m highline on the coast of Sydney, AUS. He's wearing a harness and proper safety equipment is used to ensure there is minimal danger.

A starry night in the Maldives. A surreal moment, one of the last shared with a friend who passed away shortly after the trip, Cole Younger. This photo means a lot to me, one of my favorites.

I took this after hiking down to the bottom of this almost 200-foot waterfall in Marion County, Oregon. I wanted to capture the awesome rock shelf and the wild flowers blooming on its ledge, along with that beautiful old-growth forest in the background.

This spot has become very popular for people to balance stones on top of each other into towers, just for fun. The spot is between Ellis beach and Wangetti beach on the Captain Cook highway, North Queensland, Australia

I was exploring an old town in Eastern Oregon and came across these homemade signs on the wall of an old building. I'm pretty sure the building was vacant, as was the building facing these signs. There are a lot of questions here and I'm sure there's a story behind whatever it was that compelled someone to make these. I originally identified this town as Condon, Oregon. I drove back through the area and it was actually Wasco, Oregon. Forgive me for mixing up these two major metropolises!

Three minutes before the avalanche left, I was at that spot. Happiness in misfortune, it's a pity that I didn't have more time to adjust the aperture! I also had the old 50mm lens on the camera, which doesn't work properly anymore! Otherwise, it would have become a perfect shot, so it is a hot snapshot!

The light of the setting sun hits Mt Cook with the glacial water of the Hooker River in the foreground. This was just off the Hooker Valley Track in New Zealand. The hike was awesome, and hard to beat in the views per mile/difficulty level. It's a relatively short, flat hike that has 3 cool bridges and great views in every direction.

This photo is taken after the sunset when most of the other photographers have left this popular spot in Laguna Beach. Finally there are no more people in the frame and the lights from the far away added more color to the picture.
