I love the simpleness of the classic hotrods. Who needs things like covers of the engine when there is so much cool stuff to see. I like how this photo is very mechanical with all the parts and shinny thing it keeps your eyes moving.

This is a photo from a series of mock ups I have been working on. To style, I generally place my props down and then grab my camera or phone. I use the viewfinder to look at different crops until I find an interesting composition I like, like this one. I really like this photo because it is simple but elegant, and I tend to find myself drawn to minimalism. Hope you enjoy!

Birthday weekend in Paris. This fifth set is a more random selection. Abstract architecture is an amazing thing, places like the base of the Eiffel Tower and the Pompidou centre are a brilliant reminder of modern building (even though the Eiffel tower is old, it's a feat of engineering!)

Rinjani. Last week hike to this beautiful crater lake was quite intense. First day was rough. Nine hours of hike with both legs cramped the whole path. Not sure if it is because I'm out of shape by now, or is it my backpack that was too heavy. Or am I just getting old? Second day was better though. That was another 6 hours hike until we finally reach Plawangan, where I took this picture. Literally cried when I saw the lake. It was magnificent. The scale is insane. We were walking under the rain most of the day on the third day. I already had a feeling that there might be flood in one of the four rivers that we crossed. That's exactly what happened. Thankfully the water was still less than half of my height so getting across was still possible. Overall this hike is one of the best and most scenic walk I ever did! And especially because I get to share this trip with one of my best friends.

In Spain there is a very serious situation with the murder and abandonment of Galgos. Thousands die every year. Sira was 3 years old when her owner cut her throat to remove the identification chip required in Spain. She was no longer fit to run because she was too old. I love elegant and minimal images, and not to mention, anything that involves florals. Every week I purchase florals from Trader Joes and practice my photography skills shooting them with simple props from around home. Hence, the image you see here! Also, the lovely mini plates are from Magnolia! To shoot this image, I used natural lighting, and some foam board to style the props on. I will rearrange and crop for a variety as well!

We visited Paris for a concert, so we didn’t have much time. First thing we did was rushing to the Sacre Coeur which is an magical place to see in Paris. When you turn around from the beautiful cathedral and the charming small shops you’re greeted with this astonishing view of the city.
