The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras is one of Australia’s biggest tourist drawcards, with the parade and dance party attracting many international and domestic tourists. It is New South Wales’ second-largest annual event in terms of economic impact, generating an annual income of about A$30 million for the state.

The event grew from gay rights parades held annually since 1978 and has been a major help in passing the same-sex marriage legislation in Australia on 9 December 2017.

And almost 50% more women hold professional or technical jobs for every 100 men in the Philippines. Asia is one of the most progressive regions for women, yet stereotypes of what Asian women are like and look like persist. BBH Singapore’s ‘See Different’ collection of images seeks to change that by showing the true diversity and personality of women across the Asian region. All the series that I make are related to water, I give my feeling in all my series, relate to all my experiences, water as a visual medium for bold my statement about “beautiful in pain”. I use the changing light of day to arouse the mood of my dreams, I describe the pool as a part of my fantasy. I like the situation under the water, it feels peaceful, even though it’s tight. making peace with our own sins is one way to solve the problem.

I’ve got love for our crazy history of inventors in Scotland. My birthplace is also the birthplace of the tyre. Since then, it’s the home of a vintage car rally every year as an ode to the fella. Wee towns you drive through here have placards outside the town proclaiming the inventions, playing historical one-upmanship. We’ve lost some of our pride in that field.

A year ago, I had the courage to capture the happenings during the Chinese New Year in Binondo, Manila. It was quite challenging to brave the large crowd under the scorching heat. However, discovering different scenarios and people like the vendor (he doesn’t sell mushrooms btw) is one of a kind experience. This 2019, I covered the event once again but I didn’t meet the vendor this time.

This trip was one of the most intense of my life: after drove around 18 hours from Leknes (Lofoten) to Posio (Finland) and nearly a thousand of km on our shoulder, we sleep around 3 hour before heading up to this really mesmerizing place. In Riisitunturin National Park, we have spent the sunset and the night, and after that, my friend, Alessandro, has lost himself during the night, shooting the trees under northern light, but fortunately Finnish Police have found him in less than 2 hours, but this is another story.

Little do many people know, a very famous song by ABBA called ‘Waterloo’ is actually set in a small village outside of Liverpool called Waterloo, not London. The amount of people who do not know this upsets me as I live here now and it’s a vibrant village full of life, it’s own beach and beautiful sunsets. (Like this one)

Whilst cycling through the Canadian Rockies in Alberta, I got the chance to shoot the milky way over the Athabasca glacier in Jasper National Park, AB. shot around 3AM. No one else out there but me and the roar of the water from the glacier. Truly surreal experience I cannot wait to have again.

This is a stack of 6 images from my a6300 at ISO 6400, F2.0 at 12mm (18mm FF eq.) Since stacking got rid of all of the noise at that ISO, I got a good Signal/Noise ratio.

A little planet is a projection method of a 360 photo. Last 7 years I shot several hundreds of these at cities around the world. Mainly to upload to Google Maps to help people prepare their holiday or weekend trip to. My Google Maps collection is one of the most viewed collections in the world and in 2018 I won the official Google Streetview Challenge in Japan for one of my submissions. The way I get the most interesting view of a location is from a 6 meter high monopod. The elevation of the camera gives a way better overview 360 photo’s won’t work here but tiny planet’s do
