Long exposure of an electrical tower taken at night. I used a flash to light up the electrical tower. The sky was exposed for 20 sec.

The Boardman Tree farm in northern Oregon was an incredible place to visit. The 25,000 acres of poplar trees made for an almost otherworldly experience in the fall. The farm was sold in January of 2016 to be cut down and used for cow pastures and agriculture. This photo was taken during during the autumn of 2016 before the bulk of the man made forest was removed. Small sections reportedly still remain, but not at the mind blowing scale of a few years ago.

Teal is very popular in many online acrylic projects. So I went to this shop downtown that turned out to be a mine of acrylic paint. I mixed different shades of green and teal and got this marble-like pattern.

Bri and I went to do some shooting in the CA desert. She drove in from San Diego and me from Phoenix and we hung around in the desert for an afternoon. She tried out my Mamiya for a few shots of the desert in mini-bloom.

This is my submission for International Women’s Day. You see this image told a completely different story before, but something I never forgot about was the secondary story that crept into my mind and would stay there for when the time was right. The time is now perfect. While the original story we told was to do with manipulation for ones own personal gain as seen by the expression on the background model’s face, I realised this image could also tell the story of empowering others. And more specifically in this case, women empowering other women which I saw as a great strength!

I love elegant and minimal images, and not to mention, anything that involves florals. Every week I purchase florals from Trader Joes and practice my photography skills shooting them with simple props from around home. Hence, the image you see here! Also, the lovely mini plates are from Magnolia! To shoot this image, I used natural lighting, and some foam board to style the props on. I will rearrange and crop for a variety as well!

Her smile says it all. Relief because I’m not getting replaced. Contentedness because I have a new friend. Fatigue because new puppies are exhausting. Happiness because life is full.

Went on a trip to the mountains with good friends. I was there to go snowboarding. Of course I had my camera in my backpack to get a shot like this one here! What comes into your mind when you see a landscape like this?

Sometimes, all you need is a warm ball of fur. No judgment, no stress, no deadlines or cares in the world. Oversized paws, the softest coat, and the truest puppy dog eyes you could ever want.
