He's experienced a full life, complete with adventures on different continents and a beautiful family that he holds dear. In our brief conversation, he shared with me how he discovered the essence of life is found by knowing that the Creator of all things. This Carolina Wren flew in to the feeders that I had hanging from this gorgeous branch and after having its fill of food it hopped up onto the branch and gave me a few poses. This was my favorite as it stood up tall and right in the one opening in the branches. I had set up to shoot backlit for the feeders because I knew the sun would be too bright for a front lit shot and would look harsh. Using backlight and a row of dark green bushes in shade I was able to capture this dramatically lit shot of the little bird and the beautiful pink spring cherry blossoms.

In the early 2000s in Spain, Barcelona has managed to establish itself as a reference for skateboarding worldwide, surpassing legendary cities like San Francisco or New York ... A pleasant climate all year long, the sea near the city center, cheap life and a more permissive society have pushed many American and European professionals to spend 6 months per year, or even to move there. For a skateboarder, Barcelona finally looks more like a kind of Disneyland, with a number of spots per square kilometer, perfect and natural, completely disproportionate.

If you visit Thailand and you want to meet some animals such as these Asian Elephants, make sure you do your research. There is a lot of oppressive treatment of these gentle giants for tourism. You should look to visit an elephant sanctuary where the fees are high, where the elephants are free to roam, feed, play and bathe, where there are NEVER any chains or elephant riding. When visiting Chiang Mai - try Elephant Nature Park, who do some wonderful things with animal rescue.

This was a journey to meet my in-laws and produce as many photos as I can for myself. I fell in love with this beautiful country, the spirituality, the freedom and the food. Wherever I look, there was a real scene from real life. I’ve never been so aware in my life as a photographer. This country opened my eyes once again to what’s really important in life.

6am start for a zodiac cruise in the aptly named Paradise Harbour. As we silently drifted past huge icebergs with the snow falling, we were surrounded by at least 12 ‘bubble net feeding’ humpback whales. Genuinely had no idea which direction to look, they were everywhere! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Paradise indeed.
