Birthday weekend in Paris. This sixth and final set is of the monuments and classic tourist buildings of Paris, the end of these photos and the end of a wonderful trip. The city has a lot of problems right now, but if you can look past it, there is so much beauty.

The Boardman Tree farm in northern Oregon was an incredible place to visit. The 25,000 acres of poplar trees made for an almost otherworldly experience in the fall. The farm was sold in January of 2016 to be cut down and used for cow pastures and agriculture. This photo was taken during during the autumn of 2016 before the bulk of the man made forest was removed. Small sections reportedly still remain, but not at the mind blowing scale of a few years ago.

Part of what I love about photography is the limitless possibilities and chances to be creative. We had a whole photo shoot planned out until it began to rain. We were about to leave until we found this lantern in the back. The final end product was this simple, yet moody photo that is, to this day, one of my favorite captures.

Shooting at night becomes a trend for my car photography. Of course, taking photos at low light, it’s way over my skills, techniques and the gear I have. Miraculously they came out quite pleasant. All this comes unexpectedly because these sessions are never planned, and I just had the chance to have my camera in the trunk and pass by a well-lighted parking lot.

After hiking the Navajo Trail at Bryce Canyon, I reached to top as the sun was beginning to set. After I caught my breath, I turned and took this photo of the canyons that I had just hiked through.

Long exposure of vehicles traveling along the Rt. 97 Scenic Byway. As can been seen from the shot, this is the famous section at Hawk’s Nest that has multiple tight s-bends. The pull-offs along this section give magnificent elevated views of the Delaware River.

Last night I ventured myself alone in the woods. I cannot say that I was there at ease given that taking photos in a pitch dark area in the woods isn’t something for the faint-hearted. However, the view of the night sky among the trees was worth the risk.

It´s simple a drop of water…one of the most amazing things on earth. Really enjoyed shooting this, waited for a couple of hours until the rain stopped, the sun just hit this perfect spot at the right timing. Hope you enjoy it and please share it. Last weekend I made the long drive to Bathurst to watch the 12 hour GT race that comes on once a year. Every year they close a public road that drives around a mountain to host a 12 hour endurance race. This year is my third year and I was blown away with the quality of cars that were there. Like one of my other photos at the same event I took this shot to show the blend between man and machine, to show that behind the race car that is on the track there is a hard working team putting that car together.

Taken after the wedding actually The happy bride started to get ready at noon and we left her house in a super hurry, like 1h before the sunset hoping to still catch a bit of light (in Philippines the sunset is really early - at that time around 5 pm). Anyway, initially we supposed to shoot at a local football stadium but 🙂, because we arrived there “too late” everything was closed already (Sunday afternoon) and not even a guard to bribe around 😬. Due to mentioned facts we had no choice anymore so… we had to stop the car just like that, next to a plain field… and voila, this is the result :)

A little planet is a projection method of a 360 photo. Last 7 years I shot several hundreds of these at cities around the world. Mainly to upload to Google Maps to help people prepare their holiday or weekend trip to. My Google Maps collection is one of the most viewed collections in the world and in 2018 I won the official Google Streetview Challenge in Japan for one of my submissions. The way I get the most interesting view of a location is from a 6 meter high monopod. The elevation of the camera gives a way better overview 360 photo’s won’t work here but tiny planet’s do
