According to a local I talked to, this building is about 130 years old and used to be a hotel and brothel. It’s located in the tiny unincorporated community of Fort Klamath in Southern Oregon. I had to stand on a highway to get this photo but I love how the wood textures turned out. I especially love the random door on the second floor.

We only have one earth - So we should better start taking care of it! For sure, this is an amazing spot to photograph in Iceland, but let's think about the background of this plane. At some point humans crashed it on Iceland. And since then it's laying there. And now think about this plane in a metaphoric way - the human impact on the environment is huge and sadly in a negative way. We are all living together on this earth - We are all connected. So every single person should think about their personal impact on the environment and maybe start to decrease their "footprint".

NGC 4565 – the Needle Galaxy Located between 30 – 50 million light years away, it’s the most prominent edge-on spiral galaxies we have in our view. Residing near the North Galactic Pole in the constellation Coma Berenices (named for “Berenice's Hair" in Latin and refers to Queen Berenice II of Egypt, who cut off her hair in gratitude to the gods for the safe return of her husband from battle), it has a spatial diameter of 140,000 light-years (Milky Way = 105,000 ly) and is estimated to contain a trillion stars (Milky Way 250-400 billion). With the darkness from a central dust lane obscuring much of the visual core of the galaxy, it’s very similar to our view of the core our Milky Way, and as such is studied extensively by astronomers.

Rinjani. Last week hike to this beautiful crater lake was quite intense. First day was rough. Nine hours of hike with both legs cramped the whole path. Not sure if it is because I'm out of shape by now, or is it my backpack that was too heavy. Or am I just getting old? Second day was better though. That was another 6 hours hike until we finally reach Plawangan, where I took this picture. Literally cried when I saw the lake. It was magnificent. The scale is insane. We were walking under the rain most of the day on the third day. I already had a feeling that there might be flood in one of the four rivers that we crossed. That's exactly what happened. Thankfully the water was still less than half of my height so getting across was still possible. Overall this hike is one of the best and most scenic walk I ever did! And especially because I get to share this trip with one of my best friends.

The historical house of Qajar minister Moshir-ol-Molk Ansari in Isfahan is a masterpiece in the history of Persian architecture. The mansion stands out when compared with its counterparts, thanks to its unique and royal architectural designs and avant-garde structure. The house, which has the largest and most historical sash window in Iran, was officially registered as a national heritage site in 2009. The beautiful ancient house is located near Naqsh-e Jahan Square and on Yakhchal Street in the center of Isfahan. I have combined 9 shots for getting this super-wide angle view.

The Aga Khan Museum is a one of a kind in its simplistic oriental design. It's definitely a Toronto hidden gem. This setting was perfect for my #WhitespaceProject seeking minimalistic styles in everyday photography. Although we had to leave, on our way out of the museum, I jumped with excitement when I saw the direct sunlight making the white marble wall glow. I had visited the Photography exhibition at the V&A musuem in London and upon exiting the courtyard I noticed a glass structure in the floor they had put on. I played around with some angles and managed to get some good reflections which captured nice angles and the buildings in the background.

A butterfly caught in the moment it lays an egg. Different types of butterflies lay their eggs on particular host plants, which their caterpillars eat. In some cases the plants are poisonous which helps protect the caterpillar, and later the butterfly, from being eaten.
