The sunsets at the sea horizon, the spanish food and the incredible landscapes have already earned a special place in my heart.💛 My first weekend trip took me to this surreal place where hundreds of crabs were bustling around this so called “piscinas naturales”. Those natural pools emerged from arbitrary vulcanic streams.🌋

I’ve been visiting this part of the California coastline since before I can remember. Every year my parents would take my siblings and I camping in the redwoods just a few miles away from this very stretch of Hwy 1. I still come back to this place whenever I get a chance, it’s just too beautiful and too full of fond memories to stay away for long. This morning was my first time visiting with a drone, and it was an incredible experience getting to see this place that I love from a new perspective

There’s nothing like a Michigan beach in my book. The sand is thick and grainy, perfect for afternoon drip castles that can last all day. Seagulls sing for hours, driftwood begs you to find a crafty project, and friends dot the sand without it feeling crowded. Bring a towel, a book, and your best shades because you’re going to be here for a while. Even on overcast days, this is the place to be.
