I was walking around at Pride 2019 in New York to portrait interesting people and scenes. I met this amazing person making poses. I managed to make an angle so that the sun hit the face to make those cheekbones stand out even more. I also really like the shadow the hat makes on the top of the face.

Shot on film. I've noticed that going out with an analog camera makes it easier for me to notice sights I passed by a hundred times and never noticed :)

Serving cocktails on a pretty tray just makes them that much better. Anything with grapefruit is my go-to cocktail.

This photo was shot from a place quite remote to the public, especially at the time it was shot. Almost no post processing was necessary. It has a special place for me because I hiked both mountains and stayed at the mountain it was shot from. Everyone tells me how it should be the next Apple default desktop which makes it even more special to me on how people see the image.

Cold brew coffee! I believe we've got something really interesting to beat the heat! This is for all of you who really need their caffeine fix but the heat just makes a hot brew unappealing. After a couple of experiments with easily available coffee and brewing method, I and my friend arrived at something we like. Shot this with two LED bulbs in an octabox on camera right. It had to be a pouring shot to capture the mood of anticipation before we get to the brew and have it. I can just imagine the smells wafting around and the sound of coffee being poured onto clinking ice!

Sign in a hotel in Bournemouth. Simply a misunderstood genius. It made me smile and also mention to my husband that the sign was definitely there for him. It makes me feel happy and laugh at the humour of the sign.

The female Eclectus parrot is a gorgeous dark blue and red, while the males are dull by comparison, but this photo shows a colourful portion of the plumage between the wing on the left and the breast on the right.

Mercedes-Benz headlight minimalist photograph. Love this because it was taken at sunset and the contrast between the blue shadows and the yellow highlights really makes it stand out to give a lonely roadtrippy vibe.

To be a florist is not for everybody. You should love what you do. Only in this case you can create something great. Flowers is something thats requires additional care and vision of the beauty. It is like a child. Their lifes is too short. But their life is so beautiful and it makes millions of people happier.

Collecting cameras is my hobby. When I got this particular camera, I knew I had to do a photoshoot for it. This photo makes me want to take more photos. Seeing a film camera is like observing a piece of history that captured history and knowing I can do the same, inspires me.

The Aurora Borealis is the magic ingredient that makes polar landscapes even more special and rare. When it appears, it might be small and almost invisible, or standing as a quiet line over the head. But it can suddenly explode in a vortex of green shadows, sometimes with some magenta edges here and there, illuminating the whole sky and the landscape around. Any cold sensation disappears.

This picture was taken after a long and intense hike up Table Mountain. We pushed ourselves so hard we were so excited just to sit down and relax up in the clouds. This picture makes me feel a sense of accomplishment.

We started hiking a couple hours before sunrise, finding our way up the mountain. The trail was overgrown and very hard to follow at times. We made several wrong turns. There was not a single person in sight at any point on the mountain. All to keep us company was the stories we told of our lives and how God as transformed us as we established new friendships. This picture makes me feel a sense of Awe for Gods creation and Gods creations.

Baking is just one of the many things that always fascinates me. It’s the process of mixing all the ingredients, kneading the dough, taking the time to let it expand and popping it in the oven. The process in itself makes it delicious and enjoyable.

I got the rare opportunity to shoot from one of the tallest buildings in the city of Nashville at sunrise. This photo I got with a Canon 50mm Tilt Shift lens, which makes the buildings and cars below look more like toys than real. It was a fantastic experience.
