Interisting - Page 2

I was walking around at Pride 2019 in New York to portrait interesting people and scenes. The boys were having a party in the middle of the street. I ended up taking a lot of photos of them and all their friends. I like this the most because of the three very different expressions and stories their faces tell.

Another aerial shot taken from my drone over a freight train station. I saw that place from my car and I thought it could be looking more interesting from the air. The rust, the colors over there made it look like a train graveyard. I wish i could go higher with my drone, but in this case I had to follow the rules and fly responsible.

I drive by this custom upholstery shop in Revere, Ma everyday and see interesting cars parked out front. I finally got the nerve to pull over an ask if i could take some photos of the car. The owner was very happy and proud that i wanted to take pics of his car and he happily obliged. sometimes all you have to do is ask!

I moved into a new office and can see this building from my office window and immediately the shapes and angles stood out from all others around it. I played around with shots of the full building but taking up the full frame offers a more interesting perspective.

Cold brew coffee! I believe we've got something really interesting to beat the heat! This is for all of you who really need their caffeine fix but the heat just makes a hot brew unappealing. After a couple of experiments with easily available coffee and brewing method, I and my friend arrived at something we like. Shot this with two LED bulbs in an octabox on camera right. It had to be a pouring shot to capture the mood of anticipation before we get to the brew and have it. I can just imagine the smells wafting around and the sound of coffee being poured onto clinking ice!

Found this interesting sculpture that perfectly reflected the sky and opened up a way to see this street lamp across the street.

I went for a photograph mission at mission bay on an autumn evening and toke this photograph of Berkeley cinema. I found the contrast of the lights interesting.

It's a small part of a much bigger project - which didn't turn out very interesting. But I saw this fragment. Do you see the demonic one-eyed face? ;)

A striking industrial roller shutter door at a now demolished paper mill. The strong horizontal lines and bold yellow stripe of the grungy metal door was just too interesting for me not to capture.

This is a photo from a series of mock ups I have been working on. To style, I generally place my props down and then grab my camera or phone. I use the viewfinder to look at different crops until I find an interesting composition I like, like this one. I really like this photo because it is simple but elegant, and I tend to find myself drawn to minimalism. Hope you enjoy!
