Bagrati Cathedral The Cathedral of the Dormition, or the Kutaisi Cathedral, more commonly known as Bagrati Cathedral, is an 11th-century cathedral in the city of Kutaisi, in the Imereti region of Georgia. A masterpiece of the medieval Georgian architecture, the cathedral suffered heavy damage throughout centuries and was reconstructed to its present state through a gradual process starting in the 1950s, with major conservation works concluding in 2012. A distinct landmark in the scenery of central Kutaisi, the cathedral rests on the Ukimerioni Hill. - Wikipedia -

Fog rolls down into Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand at sunset. I was driving towards Queenstown, NZ in an attempt to shoot the Remarkables for sunset. I was running behind schedule to make it in time, and was driving along Lake Wakatipu when the light began to change. I came across a small rest area/campground(side note, NZ is awesome for that #vanlife!) and hiked down to the lake and began shooting. Fog began to roll over the mountain and it was much more beautiful in person than this shot captures. As the sun got further down, it illuminated the clouds above in color making a spectacular sunset. I wished I had a stronger ND filter for a long exposure here, but had only grabbed the 3 stop instead of 10 stop before I left.

The Cape Hatteras lighthouse, captured with love on a brisk evening in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Even without the proper gear for a long exposure shot like this, I think it still turned out alright. I'd also like to give a shout out to the state and national park services for all they do to preserve the natural beauty found within our country. They make a huge difference and I really can't thank them enough.

I went to Berlin with some good friends a few weeks ago. We were pretty late for the sunset, but made it just in time. We went up on a terrace of a hotel there to get that view! I'm really happy with the result of that long exposure. What do you think?

The golden light of the setting sun illuminates the Valle de la Luna in the Atacama Desert, Chile. I have long wanted to visit the Atacama and recently had the chance to do so. It is the driest place on Earth and the otherwordly landscapes look as such.

She could suddenly become a whole other character. A second ago she was laughing and then she decided to go deep into thoughts ... like her soul started a very slow dance, her hands were floating in air, she closed her eyes and ... I shot the moment she suddenly impressed me. Not much have changed in this photo. I'm not fan of extreme editing even though I sometimes try them. I decided not to even remove her hair from her hands because to me this is what made her original.

If you wait in certain spots across the Chicagoland area, you are bound to have a plane go directly overhead every 5-10 minutes. I did not have to wait long before this plane crossed perfectly into the puddle that also reflected Trump Tower.

In the early 2000s in Spain, Barcelona has managed to establish itself as a reference for skateboarding worldwide, surpassing legendary cities like San Francisco or New York ... A pleasant climate all year long, the sea near the city center, cheap life and a more permissive society have pushed many American and European professionals to spend 6 months per year, or even to move there. For a skateboarder, Barcelona finally looks more like a kind of Disneyland, with a number of spots per square kilometer, perfect and natural, completely disproportionate.

Birthday weekend in Paris. This fifth set is a more random selection. Abstract architecture is an amazing thing, places like the base of the Eiffel Tower and the Pompidou centre are a brilliant reminder of modern building (even though the Eiffel tower is old, it's a feat of engineering!)

The Boardman Tree farm in northern Oregon was an incredible place to visit. The 25,000 acres of poplar trees made for an almost otherworldly experience in the fall. The farm was sold in January of 2016 to be cut down and used for cow pastures and agriculture. This photo was taken during during the autumn of 2016 before the bulk of the man made forest was removed. Small sections reportedly still remain, but not at the mind blowing scale of a few years ago.

I stayed in Shanghai for around three days and I never got to see Shanghai without some combination of fog, mist, and rain. It was all worth it just for the aura that surrounded the skyline at night.

Long exposure of vehicles traveling along the Rt. 97 Scenic Byway. As can been seen from the shot, this is the famous section at Hawk’s Nest that has multiple tight s-bends. The pull-offs along this section give magnificent elevated views of the Delaware River.

According to a 2018 McKinsey report, China boasts 114 of the world’s 147 female, self-made billionaires (America has 14). And almost 50% more women hold professional or technical jobs for every 100 men in the Philippines. Asia is one of the most progressive regions for women, yet stereotypes of what Asian women are like and look like persist. BBH Singapore’s ‘See Different’ collection of images seeks to change that by showing the true diversity and personality of women across the Asian region. I’ve been visiting this part of the California coastline since before I can remember. Every year my parents would take my siblings and I camping in the redwoods just a few miles away from this very stretch of Hwy 1. I still come back to this place whenever I get a chance, it’s just too beautiful and too full of fond memories to stay away for long. This morning was my first time visiting with a drone, and it was an incredible experience getting to see this place that I love from a new perspective

A foggy November evening at Ågelsjön. This narrow but long lake is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, no matter the season. Situated in a steep and wooded valley just north of Norrköping. The fog was thick and blocked the view of the other side, isolating the tree against the background.

Designed by Sarkis Balyan in 1875, the Akaretler Row Houses were built by Sultan Abdulaziz to accommodate the most prominent and high-ranking officials of Dolmabahce Palace. (from http://www.bilgiliholding.com/en/projects/mixed-use/akaretler-row-houses) This is a photo from a series of photographs taken while only a small section of the row houses were restored. It was winter time in 2005, in Istanbul.

When I was a little kid, I dreamed I’m in a church with tall black walls. I was a prisoner cause I could see no windows or doors and I was lost between too many chairs around me! I remember turning my head and there were two girls that were calling my name. I stepped towards them. On of them grabbed me and pulled me to herself. She circled her arms around me and I was ready to kiss her. I got closer and then suddenly I realized she has no face! It freaked me out. I jumped back and fell on a chair. Then they took their knives out and attacked me to rip my face off.

After visiting friends in Milwaukee as I frequently do, I was inspired to pull over and send the drone up to get a handful more shots. The city is rather underwhelming in comparison to the urban behemoths that populate the country, but its somewhat understated manner has succeeded in preserving its shoreline in a beautiful way.

The Făgăraș mountains had quite a show going on during a splitboarding and avalanche training session in the Bâlea area. The mix of colours was surreal during this sunset, we could only stare for the whole very few minutes that the colour show lasted.

A small and very cute Egyptian Goose gosling pauses in the morning sun for a short preening session. This little guy and 3 of its siblings were all walking around in the short grass and they stopped right in the morning sun. I laid down low along an embankment so I could get the little ducks’s head up into the dark background and really show off that fuzzy glow. Taken at a local park in Sebastian, Florida.
