I was exploring an old town in Eastern Oregon and came across these homemade signs on the wall of an old building. I'm pretty sure the building was vacant, as was the building facing these signs. There are a lot of questions here and I'm sure there's a story behind whatever it was that compelled someone to make these. I originally identified this town as Condon, Oregon. I drove back through the area and it was actually Wasco, Oregon. Forgive me for mixing up these two major metropolises!

NGC 4565 – the Needle Galaxy

Located between 30 – 50 million light years away, it’s the most prominent edge-on spiral galaxies we have in our view. Residing near the North Galactic Pole in the constellation Coma Berenices (named for “Berenice's Hair" in Latin and refers to Queen Berenice II of Egypt, who cut off her hair in gratitude to the gods for the safe return of her husband from battle), it has a spatial diameter of 140,000 light-years (Milky Way = 105,000 ly) and is estimated to contain a trillion stars (Milky Way 250-400 billion). With the darkness from a central dust lane obscuring much of the visual core of the galaxy, it’s very similar to our view of the core our Milky Way, and as such is studied extensively by astronomers.

Fog rolls down into Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand at sunset. I was driving towards Queenstown, NZ in an attempt to shoot the Remarkables for sunset. I was running behind schedule to make it in time, and was driving along Lake Wakatipu when the light began to change. I came across a small rest area/campground(side note, NZ is awesome for that #vanlife!) and hiked down to the lake and began shooting. Fog began to roll over the mountain and it was much more beautiful in person than this shot captures. As the sun got further down, it illuminated the clouds above in color making a spectacular sunset. I wished I had a stronger ND filter for a long exposure here, but had only grabbed the 3 stop instead of 10 stop before I left.

Mt Cook illuminated in alpenglow. The end of a great hike, after traveling halfway around the world to get here. The skies would darken soon after this and I hiked back in some of the darkest skies I've seen. The amount of stars in the sky was amazing.

The day was windy, I was walking in the city of Lille and at a time I look up to the buildings telling myself i could get a great pic here. I put my Olympus OM 50mm on an adpatation ring, this give me a 100mm on my Panasonic G7 and i could get some good angle really close.

A second ago she was laughing and then she decided to go deep into thoughts ... like her soul started a very slow dance, her hands were floating in air, she closed her eyes and ... I shot the moment she suddenly impressed me. Not much have changed in this photo. I'm not fan of extreme editing even though I sometimes try them. I decided not to even remove her hair from her hands because to me this is what made her original.

It’s been a week since I have arrived here in Tenerife. The sunsets at the sea horizon, the spanish food and the incredible landscapes have already earned a special place in my heart.💛
My first weekend trip took me to this surreal place where hundreds of crabs were bustling around this so called “piscinas naturales”. Those natural pools emerged from arbitrary vulcanic streams.🌋

I have a habit of stopping strangers in the street and giving them compliments (hey RAOK make the world a happier place) and I spotted a lady wearing these incredible earrings last year. I told her how fantastic she looked and that I loved her earrings and they matched her very quirky, beautiful sense of style. She was so taken back that she took them out of her ears and insisted that I keep them. Out of all the earrings in my vast collections, these are my fave because they brought joy into the lives of two women that day.
