I went to the darkest area near my hometown called "Gülper See". It is part of an area where a very low amount of light pollution is. It is well known by a lot of the astrophotographers, because it's also one of the darkest spots here in Germany. When you want to shoot the amazing nightsky in Germany, then you should definitely visit the "Westhavelland" in Brandenburg!

Hike 3 miles to get to this falls. Came early hoping that no one else would be here. With an empty parking lot and no one on the trail, I had a peaceful walk and great exploring of the falls and river to myself. Found a perfect spot for the light just as it got high enough above the horizon. An instant favorite of mine.

I bought a roll of unexposed film that expired in 1974 on eBay, but when it came it turned out the roll was already exposed!
So I sent it off to the lovely folks at Harman Lab who took on the challenge of developing this 45 year old roll of film.
Here are the scans, completely unaltered in all their psychedelic glory.

What you see here, is a Lensball hung up from the ceiling with thin fishing line. With a small flashlight and the help of long exposure my brother and I came up with this. :)

Had some fun in the rain here in NE Ohio the other day. My oldest son and I did some hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and had a great time. It was about 48 out and we hiked up a stretch of Brandywine Creek. This was at the top of a cool set of cascades.

It’s been a week since I have arrived here in Tenerife. The sunsets at the sea horizon, the spanish food and the incredible landscapes have already earned a special place in my heart.💛
My first weekend trip took me to this surreal place where hundreds of crabs were bustling around this so called “piscinas naturales”. Those natural pools emerged from arbitrary vulcanic streams.🌋

After a friend had a short trip here, I was intrigued by the place and decided to give it a try. Castel Savoia (in French Château Savoie) is an eighteenth-century villa in eclectic style located in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, in Valle d’Aosta, Italy.

When I was a little kid, I dreamed I’m in a church with tall black walls. I was a prisoner cause I could see no windows or doors and I was lost between too many chairs around me!‌
I remember turning my head and there were two girls that were calling my name. I stepped towards them. On of them grabbed me and pulled me to herself. She circled her arms around me and I was ready to kiss her. I got closer and then suddenly I realized she has no face! It freaked me out. I jumped back and fell on a chair. Then they took their knives out and attacked me to rip my face off.

I love elegant and minimal images, and not to mention, anything that involves florals. Every week I purchase florals from Trader Joes and practice my photography skills shooting them with simple props from around home. Hence, the image you see here! Also, the lovely mini plates are from Magnolia!

To shoot this image, I used natural lighting, and some foam board to style the props on. I will rearrange and crop for a variety as well!

There’s nothing like a Michigan beach in my book. The sand is thick and grainy, perfect for afternoon drip castles that can last all day. Seagulls sing for hours, driftwood begs you to find a crafty project, and friends dot the sand without it feeling crowded. Bring a towel, a book, and your best shades because you’re going to be here for a while. Even on overcast days, this is the place to be.

Little do many people know, a very famous song by ABBA called ‘Waterloo’ is actually set in a small village outside of Liverpool called Waterloo, not London.
