Visiting an exhibition on Matadero in Madrid, my friend and I found this installation from Mandalaki, it’s called DI_LIGHTFUL. It’s a small room with lights that create circles of very different colours. We just went nuts with it, I think we took about 50 pictures just in this place. We’ve been in Madrid for a couple of days now for work, and we are simply in love with the city. If anyone is considering visiting, DO IT. It’s amazing. The classic and the modern all together, beautiful and welcoming people, lots of art, opportunities and great moments.

Part of what I love about photography is the limitless possibilities and chances to be creative. We had a whole photo shoot planned out until it began to rain. We were about to leave until we found this lantern in the back. The final end product was this simple, yet moody photo that is, to this day, one of my favorite captures.

Shot this while on my last journey to Queenstown. @Makailynn is an influencer and producer who joined us on this trip. I was down below her on the hillside when I looked up to see her shooting this sunrise. With the sun to her back, the light cast a light golden glow that I found inspiring.

In Spain there is a very serious situation with the murder and abandonment of Galgos. Thousands die every year. Sira was 3 years old when her owner cut her throat to remove the identification chip required in Spain. She was no longer fit to run because she was too old. Then he probably tried to kill her with a blow to the head. A greyhound shelter in our province, cured her and found a home for her. When Sonia and I saw her we fell in love with her. Today his more than fifty scars are still there but after two years with his real family he is finally happy. A exception.

At mile 8 my teammate slipped and rolled downhill, gaining a concussion ruining her knee. There was nowhere else for us to go though. So we bandaged her up and continued downhill. We stumbled across this village just in time for sunset. Running over this small winter river and into GP.

We were all terribly sick at this point and had been at it several days. We had an early morning start, not sure how far we’d have to trek until we found a homestay. This trip was one of the most intense of my life: after drove around 18 hours from Leknes (Lofoten) to Posio (Finland) and nearly a thousand of km on our shoulder, we sleep around 3 hour before heading up to this really mesmerizing place. In Riisitunturin National Park, we have spent the sunset and the night, and after that, my friend, Alessandro, has lost himself during the night, shooting the trees under northern light, but fortunately Finnish Police have found him in less than 2 hours, but this is another story.

The Cape Hatteras lighthouse, captured with love on a brisk evening in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Even without the proper gear for a long exposure shot like this, I think it still turned out alright.

I'd also like to give a shout out to the state and national park services for all they do to preserve the natural beauty found within our country. They make a huge difference and I really can't thank them enough.

I arrived in Yosemite at 5:20 a.m. in order to catch the sunrise at Tunnel View, but the clouds ruined the view. So I wandered the valley for some other sight to behold and found this beautiful reflection in the flooded waters of Yosemite valley.

In our brief conversation, he shared with me how he discovered the essence of life is found by knowing that the Creator of all things. Hike 3 miles to get to this falls. Came early hoping that no one else would be here. With an empty parking lot and no one on the trail, I had a peaceful walk and great exploring of the falls and river to myself. Found a perfect spot for the light just as it got high enough above the horizon. An instant favorite of mine.

This is Lake Agnes, which can be found by doing any of the Little Beehive, Big Beehive or Lake Agnes trails when you arrive at Lake Louise, Banff. We had a bit of a varied day weather wise, so I set my camera & tripod up on a small bridge and just waited until the wind died down to get this reflection. There's also an awesome Tea House right next to it, however they only take cash so I missed out on some of their famous chocolate cake this time... but next time ;)
