It’s been a week since I have arrived here in Tenerife. The sunsets at the sea horizon, the spanish food and the incredible landscapes have already earned a special place in my heart.💛
My first weekend trip took me to this surreal place where hundreds of crabs were bustling around this so called “piscinas naturales”. Those natural pools emerged from arbitrary vulcanic streams.🌋

It has always been a dream to travel to Micronesia, but it’s a whole other story to get the opportunity to go, and dive the biggest graveyard of WWII ships in the world.

The place I am speaking of is Chuck Lagoon of the Federated States of Micronesia, located about 1,000km south east from Guam on the Pacific Ocean.

This is the remains of one of the merchant ships that sunk during Operation Hailstorm that took place in 1944.

I’ve been so used to sharing photos from my travels and vacations that I haven’t spent much time actually practicing the art of photographing. I’m trying to shift gears from only enjoying the photo editing process to enjoying the capturing process. It’s happening somewhat naturally, and it’s one of those things that just seem like the planets are aligning. This is something really exciting for me and I’m looking forward to seeing where my photography is at in another 3 months!

Legend has it that Java island was was once floating on the ocean, unstable and shaky. The Gods decided to move a piece of Mount Meru from India and nail it down to the earth so that the whole island of Java would stop moving. This new mountain ( the one in the picture) is then called Semeru.

This is my submission for International Women’s Day. You see this image told a completely different story before, but something I never forgot about was the secondary story that crept into my mind and would stay there for when the time was right. The time is now perfect.

While the original story we told was to do with manipulation for ones own personal gain as seen by the expression on the background model’s face, I realised this image could also tell the story of empowering others. And more specifically in this case, women empowering other women which I saw as a great strength!

I’ve been visiting this part of the California coastline since before I can remember. Every year my parents would take my siblings and I camping in the redwoods just a few miles away from this very stretch of Hwy 1. I still come back to this place whenever I get a chance, it’s just too beautiful and too full of fond memories to stay away for long. This morning was my first time visiting with a drone, and it was an incredible experience getting to see this place that I love from a new perspective

I love elegant and minimal images, and not to mention, anything that involves florals. Every week I purchase florals from Trader Joes and practice my photography skills shooting them with simple props from around home. Hence, the image you see here! Also, the lovely mini plates are from Magnolia!

To shoot this image, I used natural lighting, and some foam board to style the props on. I will rearrange and crop for a variety as well!

Lagos was actually the first place I was able to get really close to seagulls. There where a lot of them on the beaches and they were constantly fighting for the places with the best views. I tried to get a close shot and moved a little closer with every picture I took, but at some point my respect of them just got too big, so I stayed away. This one, that was actually taken from further away is definitely my favorite.

There was not a single person in sight at any point on the mountain. All to keep us company was the stories we told of our lives and how God as transformed us as we established new friendships. This picture makes me feel a sense of Awe for Gods creation and Gods creations.

Seagulls sing for hours, driftwood begs you to find a crafty project, and friends dot the sand without it feeling crowded. Bring a towel, a book, and your best shades because you’re going to be here for a while. Even on overcast days, this is the place to be.

We visited Paris for a concert, so we didn’t have much time. First thing we did was rushing to the Sacre Coeur which is an magical place to see in Paris. When you turn around from the beautiful cathedral and the charming small shops you’re greeted with this astonishing view of the city. However, discovering different scenarios and people like the vendor (he doesn’t sell mushrooms btw) is one of a kind experience. This 2019, I covered the event once again but I didn’t meet the vendor this time.

Around the Tuntex 85 Sky Tower are quite a few interesting buildings. This one is of a series of photos I took. I continued to walk around this building for a hour. It’s perspective, the blue sky and the sun created wonderful views!

Around the Tuntex 85 Sky Tower are quite a few interesting buildings. This one is of a series of photos I took. I continued to walk around this building for a hour. It’s perspective, the blue sky and the sun created wonderful views!

Whilst cycling through the Canadian Rockies in Alberta, I got the chance to shoot the milky way over the Athabasca glacier in Jasper National Park, AB. shot around 3AM. No one else out there but me and the roar of the water from the glacier. Truly surreal experience I cannot wait to have again.

This is a stack of 6 images from my a6300 at ISO 6400, F2.0 at 12mm (18mm FF eq.) Since stacking got rid of all of the noise at that ISO, I got a good Signal/Noise ratio.
