I was exploring an old town in Eastern Oregon and came across these homemade signs on the wall of an old building. I'm pretty sure the building was vacant, as was the building facing these signs. There are a lot of questions here and I'm sure there's a story behind whatever it was that compelled someone to make these. I originally identified this town as Condon, Oregon. I drove back through the area and it was actually Wasco, Oregon. Forgive me for mixing up these two major metropolises!

Three minutes before the avalanche left, I was at that spot.
Happiness in misfortune, it's a pity that I didn't have more time to adjust the aperture!
I also had the old 50mm lens on the camera, which doesn't work properly anymore!
Otherwise, it would have become a perfect shot, so it is a hot snapshot!

The Cathedral of the Dormition, or the Kutaisi Cathedral, more commonly known as Bagrati Cathedral, is an 11th-century cathedral in the city of Kutaisi, in the Imereti region of Georgia. A masterpiece of the medieval Georgian architecture, the cathedral suffered heavy damage throughout centuries and was reconstructed to its present state through a gradual process starting in the 1950s, with major conservation works concluding in 2012. A distinct landmark in the scenery of central Kutaisi, the cathedral rests on the Ukimerioni Hill.

We were up at 3:30am on the day that the clocks went forward to summit the Cobbler and catch the first light of the summer. We made it to the top by 6:30am to catch the sunrise then once we had taken a few shots my friend climbed on top of the Needle (a rocky protrusion on the Cobbler) and looked out towards Ben Lomond. Without a cloud in the sky the light was perfect.

We took a little trip to the east of tenerife. At one point we left our car in a parking lot...
We went for a swim and enjoyed the sun on our faces. Later that day, when we came back to get our car, the parking lot was closed!🤦🏼‍♂️
We asked people in the restaurants nearby but nobody seemed to be able to help us. A very kind man who lived in a village which wasn’t far from the parking lot said he would drive back into the village and ask the people there who could open the parking area.
In the meantime my friends and I watched the beautiful sunset and I took this picture.🌄
After waiting for ages, someone came and opened the parking lot for us.
Even though it was annoying at first, I’d say we did make the best out of a bad situation.👏🏼

I visited Morro Rock at December, 2018. It was little cold that time and the sun went down behind the rock. The cold air from inland casted a blue color and the sun filled with golden color. Some kids played surfing on beach brought more vibrant into the scene.

I was hiking around Yosemite and photographing with a variety of lenses. I took several shots with a 28mm f2 and some with my 50mm f1.8. It seemed I was capturing good pictures but all of them only slightly deviated from the typical pictures you see of these colossal rocks. On whim I pulled out my dad’s old 200mm Minolta Rokkor telephoto lens that used in the 1970s with his XD11. I started shooting with this heavy old lens and quickly became obsessed with the details and colors it showed. Somehow a lens with a narrower field of view helped show just how giant and beautiful El Capitan is.

It was amazing to be on the top of Älplihorn just on time for this beautiful sunrise. I hiked and climbed a couple of hours through the night, passing some chamois and ptarmigans in the darkness, and reached the top exhausted but very happy.

Asia is one of the most progressive regions for women, yet stereotypes of what Asian women are like and look like persist. BBH Singapore’s ‘See Different’ collection of images seeks to change that by showing the true diversity and personality of women across the Asian region.

It is New South Wales’ second-largest annual event in terms of economic impact, generating an annual income of about A$30 million for the state.

The event grew from gay rights parades held annually since 1978 and has been a major help in passing the same-sex marriage legislation in Australia on 9 December 2017.

This is my submission for International Women’s Day. You see this image told a completely different story before, but something I never forgot about was the secondary story that crept into my mind and would stay there for when the time was right. The time is now perfect.

While the original story we told was to do with manipulation for ones own personal gain as seen by the expression on the background model’s face, I realised this image could also tell the story of empowering others. And more specifically in this case, women empowering other women which I saw as a great strength!

It has always been a dream to travel to Micronesia, but it’s a whole other story to get the opportunity to go, and dive the biggest graveyard of WWII ships in the world.

The place I am speaking of is Chuck Lagoon of the Federated States of Micronesia, located about 1,000km south east from Guam on the Pacific Ocean.

This is the remains of one of the merchant ships that sunk during Operation Hailstorm that took place in 1944.

It has always been a dream to travel to Micronesia, but it’s a whole other story to get the opportunity to go, and dive the biggest graveyard of WWII ships in the world. When the city shuts down for a snowstorm, I pack my skates, hike into the woods and enjoy this incredible spot to myself. Nothing beats the magic a snow storm brings. Huge snowflakes and complete silence on the ice, with the exception of the odd ice crack rippling through the valley reminding you that you’re on top of a lake of water.

Lagos was actually the first place I was able to get really close to seagulls. There where a lot of them on the beaches and they were constantly fighting for the places with the best views. I tried to get a close shot and moved a little closer with every picture I took, but at some point my respect of them just got too big, so I stayed away. This one, that was actually taken from further away is definitely my favorite.

My first morning in ghyangphedi I washed my dirty face in the river. Left my glasses on a rock and screamed when the glacier water hit my face. Eventually the sun rose high enough to sneak its warmth into this deep valley. Giving the perfect opportunity to bath for the first time in a week and jump into the freezing water.

There’s nothing like a Michigan beach in my book. The sand is thick and grainy, perfect for afternoon drip castles that can last all day. Seagulls sing for hours, driftwood begs you to find a crafty project, and friends dot the sand without it feeling crowded. Bring a towel, a book, and your best shades because you’re going to be here for a while. Even on overcast days, this is the place to be.
