I drive by this custom upholstery shop in Revere, Ma everyday and see interesting cars parked out front. I finally got the nerve to pull over an ask if i could take some photos of the car. The owner was very happy and proud that i wanted to take pics of his car and he happily obliged. sometimes all you have to do is ask!

The conditions to take this picture were challenging. There was quite a lot of cars and low light, giving you very little time to take the photo and leaving no possibility to set up a tripod. The aperture couldn't be too high because I wanted to have everything in focus, so I relied on being extra steady.

We took a little trip to the east of tenerife. At one point we left our car in a parking lot... We went for a swim and enjoyed the sun on our faces. Later that day, when we came back to get our car, the parking lot was closed!🤦🏼‍♂️ We asked people in the restaurants nearby but nobody seemed to be able to help us. A very kind man who lived in a village which wasn’t far from the parking lot said he would drive back into the village and ask the people there who could open the parking area. In the meantime my friends and I watched the beautiful sunset and I took this picture.🌄 After waiting for ages, someone came and opened the parking lot for us. Even though it was annoying at first, I’d say we did make the best out of a bad situation.👏🏼

this photo has a funny story. after i composed my shot, i heared dogs barking in the distance but i didnt realize that they were heading my way…with no friendly intentions. i took several shots and when it seemed that the sound was getting closer i moved my attention to the surroundings and i saw 5 pairs of eyes sparkling in the dark and i thought…well…this is it:) but i kept calm and packed all my gear and i used my headlamp to blind them and walked backwards to my car. after i got in the car i realized that i was holding my breath and i laughed :) yeeey i’m alive!

I’ve been visiting this part of the California coastline since before I can remember. Every year my parents would take my siblings and I camping in the redwoods just a few miles away from this very stretch of Hwy 1. I still come back to this place whenever I get a chance, it’s just too beautiful and too full of fond memories to stay away for long. Taken after the wedding actually The happy bride started to get ready at noon and we left her house in a super hurry, like 1h before the sunset hoping to still catch a bit of light (in Philippines the sunset is really early - at that time around 5 pm). Anyway, initially we supposed to shoot at a local football stadium but 🙂, because we arrived there “too late” everything was closed already (Sunday afternoon) and not even a guard to bribe around 😬. Due to mentioned facts we had no choice anymore so… we had to stop the car just like that, next to a plain field… and voila, this is the result :)
