A bright Yellow Warbler who didn't seem the least bit bothered by the heavy rain and wind. He was bouncing around in the low brush in front of my friend and I. It landed on a lot of great perches, some a little distant like this one that gave a great sense of environment and the rain and some closer and right near us. I really likd how the bird was framed in on this perch and you could easily see the heavy rain that was not fun to shoot in but worth it.

We only have one earth - So we should better start taking care of it! For sure, this is an amazing spot to photograph in Iceland, but let's think about the background of this plane. At some point humans crashed it on Iceland. And since then it's laying there. And now think about this plane in a metaphoric way - the human impact on the environment is huge and sadly in a negative way. We are all living together on this earth - We are all connected. So every single person should think about their personal impact on the environment and maybe start to decrease their "footprint".

This excursion to the Cime Bianche Lakes, Breuil-Cervinia in the Valtournenche, was among the most beautiful excursions I did. The path is not so difficult and allows you to see breathtaking views. Exploring an ice cave for the first time in my life was an incredible experience! Walking over 1000 year old ice, in the middle of one of the biggest glacier of Europe make me feel so small but you feel inside the earth and part of a cycle. An experience that enforce the sense of respect we must have about environment.

Not only I took this cool picture with a Rycote Blimp and the Sony MDR 7502 headphones, I also recorded the sounds coming from the ricefield. Sound is something that a picture can't tell you. A picture ends by its frame but not the sound! I traveled 35 days from Ho Chi Minh City to Ha Giang and lived another month in Hanoi and created one of the largest sound libraries from Vietnam. We took a little trip to the east of tenerife. At one point we left our car in a parking lot... We went for a swim and enjoyed the sun on our faces. Later that day, when we came back to get our car, the parking lot was closed!🤦🏼‍♂️ We asked people in the restaurants nearby but nobody seemed to be able to help us. A very kind man who lived in a village which wasn’t far from the parking lot said he would drive back into the village and ask the people there who could open the parking area. In the meantime my friends and I watched the beautiful sunset and I took this picture.🌄 After waiting for ages, someone came and opened the parking lot for us. Even though it was annoying at first, I’d say we did make the best out of a bad situation.👏🏼

In Spain there is a very serious situation with the murder and abandonment of Galgos. Thousands die every year. Sira was 3 years old when her owner cut her throat to remove the identification chip required in Spain. She was no longer fit to run because she was too old. Then he probably tried to kill her with a blow to the head. A greyhound shelter in our province, cured her and found a home for her. When Sonia and I saw her we fell in love with her. Today his more than fifty scars are still there but after two years with his real family he is finally happy. A exception.
