Cold brew coffee!
I believe we've got something really interesting to beat the heat! This is for all of you who really need their caffeine fix but the heat just makes a hot brew unappealing. After a couple of experiments with easily available coffee and brewing method, I and my friend arrived at something we like.
Shot this with two LED bulbs in an octabox on camera right. It had to be a pouring shot to capture the mood of anticipation before we get to the brew and have it. I can just imagine the smells wafting around and the sound of coffee being poured onto clinking ice!

Not only I took this cool picture with a Rycote Blimp and the Sony MDR 7502 headphones, I also recorded the sounds coming from the ricefield. Sound is something that a picture can't tell you. A picture ends by its frame but not the sound! I traveled 35 days from Ho Chi Minh City to Ha Giang and lived another month in Hanoi and created one of the largest sound libraries from Vietnam. In the early 2000s in Spain, Barcelona has managed to establish itself as a reference for skateboarding worldwide, surpassing legendary cities like San Francisco or New York ...

A pleasant climate all year long, the sea near the city center, cheap life and a more permissive society have pushed many American and European professionals to spend 6 months per year, or even to move there. For a skateboarder, Barcelona finally looks more like a kind of Disneyland, with a number of spots per square kilometer, perfect and natural, completely disproportionate.

I have a habit of stopping strangers in the street and giving them compliments (hey RAOK make the world a happier place) and I spotted a lady wearing these incredible earrings last year. I told her how fantastic she looked and that I loved her earrings and they matched her very quirky, beautiful sense of style. She was so taken back that she took them out of her ears and insisted that I keep them. Out of all the earrings in my vast collections, these are my fave because they brought joy into the lives of two women that day.

(Internation Women’s Day) This young lady was all in for her high school show choir event. I love the energy and the willingness to just throw herself into the performance 100%.
The show lights ended up giving this a 1940’s newspaper vibe - which I totally loved and thought made a perfect fit.

Visiting an exhibition on Matadero in Madrid, my friend and I found this installation from Mandalaki, it’s called DI_LIGHTFUL. It’s a small room with lights that create circles of very different colours. We just went nuts with it, I think we took about 50 pictures just in this place. We’ve been in Madrid for a couple of days now for work, and we are simply in love with the city. If anyone is considering visiting, DO IT. It’s amazing. The classic and the modern all together, beautiful and welcoming people, lots of art, opportunities and great moments.

A small and very cute Egyptian Goose gosling pauses in the morning sun for a short preening session. This little guy and 3 of its siblings were all walking around in the short grass and they stopped right in the morning sun. I laid down low along an embankment so I could get the little ducks’s head up into the dark background and really show off that fuzzy glow. Taken at a local park in Sebastian, Florida.
