Visiting an exhibition on Matadero in Madrid, my friend and I found this installation from Mandalaki, it’s called DI_LIGHTFUL. It’s a small room with lights that create circles of very different colours. We just went nuts with it, I think we took about 50 pictures just in this place. We’ve been in Madrid for a couple of days now for work, and we are simply in love with the city. If anyone is considering visiting, DO IT. It’s amazing. The classic and the modern all together, beautiful and welcoming people, lots of art, opportunities and great moments.

Along with spring comes birds chirping as the sun rises to greet the day, cool breezes and bright colors to inspire. Chocolate strawberry cake encompasses the few beautiful things about spring that words don't do justice. Utterly beautiful is this time of year.

Sitting on a perch in the early morning sun I was able to position myself to get some palm trees in the background to give that classic Florida vibe to this portrait of a Barred Owl. The morning sun was shining right on the owl and I did darken down the background a good bit to make it less distracting. I was lucky enough to spend about 2 hours with a pair of these lovely owls and watch them fly around the forest from perch to perch, get mobbed by a flock of Blue Jays and just generally sit around.

All the series that I make are related to water, I give my feeling in all my series, relate to all my experiences, water as a visual medium for bold my statement about “beautiful in pain”. I use the changing light of day to arouse the mood of my dreams, I describe the pool as a part of my fantasy. I like the situation under the water, it feels peaceful, even though it’s tight. making peace with our own sins is one way to solve the problem.

There’s nothing like a Michigan beach in my book. The sand is thick and grainy, perfect for afternoon drip castles that can last all day. Seagulls sing for hours, driftwood begs you to find a crafty project, and friends dot the sand without it feeling crowded. Bring a towel, a book, and your best shades because you’re going to be here for a while. Even on overcast days, this is the place to be.

Not only I took this cool picture with a Rycote Blimp and the Sony MDR 7502 headphones, I also recorded the sounds coming from the ricefield. Sound is something that a picture can't tell you. A picture ends by its frame but not the sound! I traveled 35 days from Ho Chi Minh City to Ha Giang and lived another month in Hanoi and created one of the largest sound libraries from Vietnam. Chile's Valle de la Luna bathed in the soft light of the Atacama desert after sunset. I've talked before about how much I love the light in the desert. The air seems to create such a diffuse quality to the light around sunset, providing all sorts of pastel shades of color. Maybe it's the fine dust scattering the light. This is similar to a shot I posted a little bit ago, but at a later time. You can see how the bright golden light of the sun in the previous shot before sunset, changes into the soft, diffuse light of after sunset.

For sure, this is an amazing spot to photograph in Iceland, but let's think about the background of this plane. At some point humans crashed it on Iceland. And since then it's laying there. And now think about this plane in a metaphoric way - the human impact on the environment is huge and sadly in a negative way.
We are all living together on this earth - We are all connected. So every single person should think about their personal impact on the environment and maybe start to decrease their "footprint".
